This Avocado Yogurt Dip is a creamy and flavorful twist on traditional guacamole. The addition of Greek yogurt adds a tangy and creamy texture, while the fresh cilantro and lime juice provide a burst of freshness. Customize it with your favorite toppings for a delightful snack or party appetizer.
Ingredients: 2 ripe avocados, peeled and pitted. 1 cup plain Greek yogurt. 1/4 cup chopped red onion. 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro. 1 clove garlic, minced. Juice of 1 lime. Salt and pepper to taste. Optional toppings: diced tomatoes, jalapeos, and a drizzle of olive oil.
Instructions: Mash the ripe avocados in a bowl until the mixture is smooth. While the avocados are still mashed, add the chopped red onion, cilantro, garlic that has been minced, and lime juice. Stir everything together until it's well mixed. Add salt and pepper to taste in the dip. Add diced tomatoes, jalapeos, and a drizzle of olive oil to the top of the dip if you want to. You can serve it right away with tortilla chips or vegetable sticks, or you can put it in the fridge to use later.
