Dio spent 4 years accumulating every kitchen knife in Cairo for this moment. Dio sends all his goons to rob the kitchenware trucks to take just the knives. In the late 80s, you had to go knock on Dio’s Mansion’s door and plead with him for one knife which he would sell you at a marked up price. This is how he bought all clothes he needed and those shoes. This is how he funded his Stand user gang/cult.
