What a wonderful whimsical home. The 1984 Silver Plume Castle in Silver Plume, CO has 3bds, 4ba, 5,564sqft, $975k.
The main living area is gigantic. Look at the living room, alone.
Surrounded by windows, it has a wood ceiling shaped like a tower and rising up 2 floors. Spiral stairs lead up to a loft and a beautiful brass chandelier hangs in the middle. From here you can see the loft.
Moving farther along, there's more seating, the ceiling becomes barn-like, and double doors open to a lovely wall with built-in shelving and, what looks like, stained glass.
Isn't this delightful? There's even an antique French wood stove.
Elegant dining room with built-in cabinetry. This home was built with lots of architectural salvage pieces.
An everyday dining area is beside the kitchen.
The kitchen is large and has a lovely backsplash and counter tile.
Off to the side there's a breakfast room.
There are multiple living areas and this one is next to the kitchen. These are the main stairs to the 2nd level.
The stairs come directly up to this lovely child's bedroom.
This bath is cute.
This room has a terrace and a large fireplace.
Very nice bath with stained glass windows.
This is the largest room.
And, this bath has a cute vintage tub.
Look at this, the tower stairs do look like a castle.
And, they lead to this wonderful little bedroom with built-in furniture and a beautiful tile fireplace.
These stairs lead up to a magical playroom.
The house was built using many architectural salvage pieces and the things in this room also came from a salvage yard.

Plus, there's a comfy family room up here, too.
