'Not everyone'? Maybe. He wasn't willing to take any chances, though, on people whose intentions he could not adequately ascertain. Not anymore.
"……"
Zanya’s words, however, confused him. What did he mean, ‘he’d lost his fire’? And what was this about choosing not to turn him in? It probably wasn’t something he should complain about, but…Rouga didn’t get it. Kisaragi Zanya didn’t know him. What he’d given him back at the fighting stage was a mere glimpse into what his life had been thus far—nothing more. Nothing he should have been able to base such an extreme decision off of…
"… You’re a fool."
—… Whatever. Once again, it wasn’t something he should question. If whatever bizarre conclusion Zanya had come to kept him and his father off his back, Rouga couldn’t care less about what he thought.
"They’ve apparently stuck me in district zeta. I’ve been trying to find a map of the area."
“You’re right. I am a fool, but I am being an honest one. I harbor no ill feelings whatsoever for this meeting.”
Zanya would offer a small smile, inclining his head after responding to the other’s comment on his apparent foolishness. He watched the other’s every move, and made no sudden movements as he reached into his pocket to withdraw a hand drawn map. Considering the time he’d put into it, it actually looked well, like a map.
Eventually he’d heard an answer, and nodded energetically.
“If you decide to put your trust in me and my aptitude for noting down landmarks, then this map is yours. While it may not be the best thing out there, the ‘scientists’ that dragged us here clearly had no intention on providing ones we could acquire by normal means.”
“Of course, it might not be a hundred percent accurate, but seeing as you seem rather stand offish as of this moment, I have little choice but to leave you be. I know that area relatively well, but even I, Zanya Kisaragi...” He would say the last part in a sheepish, yet somehow self loathing tone. “..Am not perfect.”
That being said, he would take a step closer. Not enough so he’d be invading personal space, but enough so that he could show the other what he’d drawn. All his time studying how the police operate seem to have paid off in this ability to map out quadrants.
“Make your decision, Rouga. Not Kyouya’s, not Mine, /Yours/. What you do from here on out is what you do with your own power. I don’t have all that much time so help you, but I can allocate some by swapping my schedule aside for your sake. So your opinion, if you will.”
