Sonic 35th Anniversary special

Happy 35th anniversary, Sonic! This took me a very long time to do since early 2026. I was going to continue my tradition of Team Sonic at rain until I made a change of plans where I planned on doing variants from usual outfits, different outfits (e.g., Sonic's SOAP shoes, the shoes Amy wore in a Sonic X episode, A date to forget, Tails' SatAM sneakers, Rouge's Heroes outfit, Rouge's Prime outfit, etc), Riders, raincoats (just rain boots for males), summer/swimwear (at the beach instead of a city), winter, to formal (inside a fancy building, with Blaze's formal dress taking inspirations from Aurora Rosalina from Mario Kart Tour and Mario Kart World). I also considered making a nighttime variant by replacing the daylight sky with a night sky, as I planned to give the rain variant a rainy background and the winter variant a snowy one. While I was working on the different outfits for each character, I failed to meet my deadline around the anniversary date, so I stopped at the regular variant when the 35th anniversary arrived, and planned on working on the variants later when I can, which I will update this very post when I also can. Helen Margrid 2025

Completed on October 16, 2025. Recolored her pants to dark magenta because (I thought) they go well with her pink turtleneck sweater and dark red boots. I also redesigned her spring/summer dress a bit, making it a round neck instead of a V-neck, except that the amulet covered it. Similar to what I experimented with Alexander Sato 2025, I experimented with her with gloves (for her fall/winter sweater outfit). One more thing, I updated her last name a bit by adding another "R" because I've been pronouncing her surname as "Mar-Grid" instead of "Ma-Grid." Made with Krita

Alexander Sato 2025

Completed on October 04, 2025. What had changed for him was that his hair color is now a bit brighter, and his shoes no longer feature black accents as they now use his usual blue-silver color scheme. I also redesigned his Morpher/Henshin device to let him morph into BlueSteel. I also experimented with him with gloves for his civilian form. Made with Krita.

HeartBreaker 2025

Completed on August 26, 2025. Likewise with BlueSteel 2025, HeartBreaker is redesigned as well, including changing up some of the armor pieces and placing her insignia on one of her pauldrons; in this case, her right pauldron. Her symbol was inspired by the heart-shaped symbol from Princess Peach's, Princess Daisy's, and Rosalina's Aero suits from Mario Kart before they were replaced with new, different symbols in Mario Kart World. Keeping true to her name, I added a heartbreak to it, which I thought would look cool with the emblem. Made with Krita.

BlueSteel 2025

Completed on July 30, 2025. Redesigning BlueSteel a bit, his insignia is now featured on his left pauldron, his vambraces covers more of his gloved forearms, his cuisses covers more of his thighs, his greaves were redesigned, and his boots were taken inspiration ques from Blaze's Riders/Extreme Gear boots as his Aetherian boots were inspired by Sonic's Power Sneakers and Blaze's usual shoes looks similar to Sonic's Power Sneakers. Team Sonic at rain

Completed on June 08, 2025. First artwork I ever did in Krita! Consider this a redraw of Team Sonic and Amy in the rain, except this time, I added Shadow, Rouge, Blaze, and Silver to the mix. Also consider this artwork for Sonic's 34th anniversary. As I already told you about Sonic's, Tails', Knuckles', and Amy's umbrellas and rain boots, and Amy's raincoat from the 2024 redraw commentary, I gave Shadow a grey umbrella which was the best color I can think of since I don't want to provide him with reds or blacks because Shadow is not edgy. I also gave him dark blue rain boots with light blue accents, which I thought Shadow would wear, referencing his friendship with Maria Robotnik. For Rouge, I gave her a purple raincoat with lighter purple accents, which references her Heroes and Prime outfits, and magenta rain boots with darker magenta accents, which also reference certain fanarts of Nails the Bat, who was Rouge's prototype design. Like Amy with her raincoat, where you can see her dress underneath, you can see Rouge's usual outfit while she is wearing her raincoat. Her green umbrella could reference the Master Emerald or the green Chaos Emerald, either way. While Blaze's cape was official from the concept artworks of her in Sonic Rush, which was finally featured in Sonic IDW, I did my best to come up with her rain boots. I first considered colors other than purple, magenta, or something else, until I (unfortunately) settled for purple with yellow accents. Her umbrella's handle was based on the Jeweled Scepter. Giving Silver a cyan umbrella and a pair of cyan rain boots would make sense for his personality. As I tried my best to give everyone different umbrella handles, umbrella end tips, and rain boots to best fit with their personalities, the best "futuristic" umbrella handle I could think of was a D-handle umbrella. To spice things up, while most of Silver's shoes were low-heeled boots, including his Extreme Gear boots and the boots he wore in Speed Battle and Sonic Speed Simulator, I made his rain boots simple, with flat soles and no details. Aquarius Genbu 2025

Completed on March 19, 2025. Darkoise's unarmored form. Aquarius has a passion for surfing and going to any beach. Besides them, he is also enthusiastic about hiking and making smoothies. Made with ProCreate.

Diante Byakko 2025

Completed on March 19, 2025. With superb skills in martial arts, particularly Kung Fu, Diante utilizes these skills to defend himself, both as himself and as Jinshand. He is also a skilled cook, aspiring to be the best chef at his local restaurant. Made with ProCreate.

Flare Suzaku 2025

Completed on March 17, 2025. Zharit's unarmored form. Initially, he was going to wear knee-high punk rocker boots; however, I changed them to ankle-length boots because it seemed unlikely that a male would wear knee-high boots. Made with ProCreate.

Zephyr Seiryu 2025

Completed on March 15, 2025. Before becoming Kazuai, Zephyr lost his right eye in a gang fight, and he usually conceals his blind eye with his hair. He still carries his skills in martial arts and aims to be the best fighter. Besides tweaking up his color scheme, he also has new shoes replacing his grey combat boots from his 2022 artwork. Kiba Naomi 2025

Completed on January 31, 2025. Outside of the lights of Eshiola, Kiba is focused on her tasks and is eager about them. She's always active, particularly in activities like jogging and jump-roping, and has demonstrated great agility in conjunction with her tremendous stamina. Made with ProCreate.

Claryssa Nelka 2025

Completed on January 29, 2025. Besides showing chaos as Bokitem, Claryssa is excited about almost anything. Whether it's rock climbing, mall shopping, visiting museums, or going on a cruise, she's always enthusiastic about them. Made with ProCreate.

Troy Zale 2025

Completed on January 25, 2025. Troy has shown his excellent intelligence for strategy and tactics, both as himself and Zakalem. However, he always gets into details for such trivial things. I was going to give him glasses, but then I thought it was a cliché idea for an intelligent person to wear them. Made with ProCreate.

Rakia Zion 2025

Completed on January 22, 2025. Rakia, both as himself and Cykaze, prefers to be alone; however, despite his lone preference, he has shown some compassion with his allies and even his enemies. Made with ProCreate.

Drakon Ignatius 2025

Completed on January 21, 2025. Vlarkon's unarmored form. As one of his inspirations was Kai Smith from Ninjago, I made his hair similar to Kai's Ninjago Movie redesign since Sons of Garmadon. His real name was derived from his dragon motif, as Vlarkon, and his surname was derived from his pyrokinesis, also as Vlarkon. Made with ProCreate.

Darkoise 2024

Completed on October 17, 2024. From the shadows of the tides, Darkoise shows some mischief and enthusiasm with his hydrokinesis. He can create water waves to surf on and has a greater lung capacity, allowing him to stay underwater for extended periods. Originally, he was going to feature purple as a secondary color; I changed it to blue to best fit with his water powers. Made with ProCreate.
