I make mild grumpy faces when isekai protagonists start selling packaged manufactured goods from our world in another world (doubly so if a solution for the resulting trash does not exist).

I say mild, because it won’t necessarily ruin it, but it can potentially sour a premise for me if there’s not enough else going for it. If it’s got enough other things going for it, it’ll just go on my nitpick list for the series.

What I enjoy is an isekai protagonist who makes their own goods. They might advance technology a bit quickly, but I prefer that to someone lying about where they got things, and introducing plastics and such.

I remember watching Inuyasha as a kid, and there was a scene where a bunch of modern snacks were brought into feudal Japan. One of the characters picks up one of the plastic water bottles and just... admired how beautiful the container was.
