the creator lab interns just presented a deck to me about influencer marketing and they crushed it so hard. look out, olds, these guys know what's up with design, marketing, presenting skills, what's relevant, and they can spot what's bad and inauthentic from a mile away. i couldn't be more impressed right now. any day my team can be involved in giving truth and storytelling a platform is a good day! loved being the sponsor of the "beyond binaries" panel at outfest. main takeaways: if the content you're making is your truth, it stands a much better chance of connecting and making an impact. therefore, if you want to tell a story of an LGBTQ+ person or a person of color and you're a cis caucasian with the means to make the film, enlist folks who know that life in the first person and collaborate! the key for all is inclusivity. ❤️💙💚💛 (at Directors Guild of America)

a year and a half ago, i called @kennyjknox's mom and asked her if she would give me permission to fly him in for a twitter event. she asked me to take good care of him. since then, we made the camp unplug series together, i introduced him to a manager, he moved to los angeles, he won a shorty award for viner of the year, and now he's in a new show for at&t that premieres soon. talent + grind = success. 💚

ok! at long last, i have hung some of @noahkalina's beautiful photography. he's a purist and doesn't usually go for mats or glass, but i couldn't decide between wood or white frames and just chose both. as for the glass, our new home is a dirt factory because we leave our doors and windows open, and i felt i had to protect them. they are truly much more gorgeous in person, my photo of his photos does not do them justice. i feel so happy and grateful to be able to look at these every day. thanks, noah! 😘
