because we’re semiotic creatures anything sufficiently consistent & repeating can become the world you live in, it could be madness nonsense but if it has some kind of consistency (or repetition, cycle, stability, etc.) then it’s applicable to be a world. you can end up living in madness nonsense if you look at it, pay no mind to the question of its stability, & only say, “well that’s madness nonsense, it couldn’t be a world.” just by keeping a conversation going one person can sometimes lead another person deep into a dark forest (or hall of mirrors with the odd tree sticker) & then run away & leave them lost there. people can also get lost on their own in old ruins
