Hey, I just read your story, and I just want to say I'm sorry that people have treated you so poorly. You really don't deserve it, you didn't ask to be born with your conditions. I remember when I was younger in school they showed a film about 2 kids who had allergies to the sun and couldn't go outside and play. I never thought I would see someone with anything similar to that again, but know that I think you are pretty. And you deserve respect. I hope you can live a long and happy life!

I'm terribly sorry. This is her fiance. She passed away sept 14th from heart failure due to pulminary hypertension :(. Thank you ever so much for your beautiful words to her

Heart failure :( her right side of her heart shut down because of her pulminary hypertension and she couldn't take the pain any more

Just read your story. Reminded me of my brother. He was born with Ichthyosis (parents didn't know before birth) which affects his skin all over. He faints in hot weather because his sweat glands don't work. He's been in and out of hospitals so many times. People stare and comment. They can be cruel. People ask if he was in a fire & if it's catching. I think he's brave & so are you. Any one who is nasty towards you is the one with the problem. You deserve to live your life to it's fullest :)

Merri elizabeth davis aka kaptainkooky R.I.P

This is not merri and this is no prank. This wonderful woman so full of love so full of care passed away this past Friday. Merri fought till she couldn't fight any more. She lived a wonderful life full of friends and people who loved and cared for her deeply. I will never forget her. she loved all of you and you all made it so much easier for her. She passed away but was very fullfilled and she helped so many many people fight and showed so many people that even though days may get dark the sun will still shine for you.
