She had a stroke. Her body had gone cold by 3 pm today; by 6 pm when the ambulance arrived she was pronounced dead. In her wake are her husband and two teenage children… I wasn’t close to her, but I was there when my mom got the news. She was just… shaking, in shock. She’s… okay right now, but I’m sure it will hit her again soon. They’d been best friends and close to each other since birth. I don’t even want to know how horrible she’s feeling right now.

My mom needs to attend the funeral on Friday. But it’s in Malaysia and me and my family just don’t have the money to send her. My brother needs to go too because she has back problems and needs help with the luggage.

Please. I seriously need your help here, everyone. Even if you can only spare 1 dollar, that dollar goes towards helping my mom get to the funeral. This is her final opportunity to say goodbye to her sister. If she doesn’t go, she’ll be regretting this her entire life, even if she knows she couldn’t go because of reasons outside her control.
