Now that Hazbin has actually started and I’ll be a bit more active on here: an intro! You can call me Quierd, or just come up with something based on my username idrc. Pronouns are he/they. Because this is a pretty discourse-heavy fandom, some things I want to make clear :
- Do I think Hazbin and Viv have a lot of issues? Yes! Do I think there are bigger issues out there? Yes! The entire entertainment industry has issues and this show is not anything particularly special in that regard. I will reblog things I think are valid criticisms.
- Do I ship Alastor? Yes! I’m aroace-spec and this is my house and I do what I want. I don’t care that it’s not canon, I don’t want it to be canon. Aphobia is common but not inherent to shipping aroace characters. If I catch something aphobic, I’m blocking.
- Am I pro or anti ship? I’m actually a big fan of nuance and critical thinking and I think going too hard in either direction causes issues.
Finally, I don’t tolerate exclusionism or pedo/incest shit. If you don’t like anything I’ve said: unfollow, block, etc, etc. Otherwise, hope you enjoy! My inbox is pretty much always open and I... well, I’d say I don’t bite, but you see my username :)
