Kanga Mabry

[jumps down from her bunk and faces Kanga] Wonderful! As you know, I always have desserts of every kind here. If we want actual food-type food…then we will have to venture forth into the wild unknown of campus. [grins] You and me both, though my dad once said I probably burned off all the energy from food by talking so much - he might have a point. [nods] Yes! Music sounds great. Now I have my usual bouncy, motown or my guilty pleasure 90s mix…what do you have? We could do a combo.

I think we should get a bit of both, although I seem to have more of a sweet tooth right now. Maybe it's because I've had so much savory things lately I've been missing all the chocolate and sweet things. [laughs] I used to think always being on the go was my saving point, but I haven't been doing anything for the past few months so maybe it's something else. Hmm...I think we should just go with some 90s mix. Guilty pleasures and all that, it's that kinda night. 

[grins and hops down from her bunk] See? It’s the perfect time to do it since you can’t remember the last time you did. We can play music, play card games, eat, and talk - I don’t think I really remember the last time we just had a good chat. It’s time, don’t you agree?

It's most certainly time. I felt like I haven't had a good talk with anyone, and what better person that my own roomie? [she smiles and sits up] Add lots of food to that equation, I'm starving and lucky for me I never seem to put on weight no matter what I eat. [she smiles again and bounces up from the bed] What do you want to do first? Find some music?

[leans over the edge of the top bunk and looks down towards Kanga at a slightly upside down angle] You know what we haven’t done in a while? Had a fun, honest to goodness, girl night. I decree that we should fix this. And definitely now.

[takes her eyes away from what she is reading as she notices Bianca lean down and smiles in return] Girl night? Oh my god, I haven't a good one of those in a long time. Seriously, I can't even remember the last time I did something like that! I'm in; hundred percent.
