Kurt & Wanda

Needed to draw baby nocturne for my turn of the century au. I cannot find any images of Talia as less than 10 years old online and that is a shame. So here you go! Kitten girl! And yes, neither of them are surprised she was climbing on her crib. She’s the daughter of nightcrawler. They knew this was going to happen. There are dozens of pillows surrounding her crib. Just in case.

Side note, they do joke about wanda having given birth to a “kitten” cause talia is so fuzzy.

Kurt: I the lord did not want me to love this woman he would not have ordained for us to meet.

Kurt: it's like she was made for me 😍😍😍😍

NightcrawlerWeek Day 6 Romance/Team Leader

Ever since Wolverine and the Xmen. Ive been a fan of these two.

After meeting Nocturne, there were several little mentions by Nightcrawler afterward seemingly randomly about Wanda sort of setting up that he was thinking about her after meeting Nocturne, but they never went anywhere. Literally just him being distracted once or twice thinking about her. At the time it came out there was mention by one of the creators involved in the comic that Nightcrawler had been wanted for Hank Pym's Mighty Avengers team (ca.2009), which included the Scarlett Witch, but was denied because it conflicted with plans the X-Office had for him. So there may have been greater plans percolating for them which never came to pass.

So yes... my thing with Marvel is personal, can they still make a couple?

I am doing research for a fic I am writing and it is loosely based around the 2012 X-Men Forever series which I have always found both really interesting and really aggravating. It have a lot of good Kurt & Rogue sibling bonding, furless Kurt (oh no), and this singular Kurt x Wanda moment where they are fighting after the Avengers try to bring the X-Men into custody because the Government "says so" where she doesn't know who he is until she recognizes the sound of his voice.

There are literally only a handful of on-page comic interactions between Kurt & Wanda, and it's tragic that in this one he doesn't even look like himself, but I love the way her demeanor immediately changes when she realizes this is Kurt, and they both call each other friends. It might not be significant to everyone but it's significant to me. There is just such a clear softening of her towards him after realizing that she knows him and who he is that I think is really sweet, despite the fact that she was going to bring him in anyways.

It's also really fun that he gets to use her powers, and in the second panel above he's still holding her after she faints from Kurt using Rogue's powers! He definitely made sure she was somewhere safe instead of leaving her lying unconscious on the ground.
