thank you for the lovely question :-) i've recently been really enjoying this album! i love modular synthesizers- one of my fav albums of all time is venetian snares traditional synthesizer music , i want "everything about you is special" to be played at my funeral (take notes!)

little different but i have also been listening to this, jazz adjacent, enji's vocals in mongolian, english, and german really make it special.

one thing i adore about zato is its kindness- i think realistic honest, measured kindness, not delusion about the world being full of perfect people but looking upon a world of imperfect people with kind eyes, is one of the most powerful things a work of art can be bestowed with..so if fb&c could tap into even a bit of that i'd be happy :3

as a side note, your comment about the auburn hair protagonists made me giggle, because lera and asya probably wouldn't get along, right?? can you imagine that? (i'd like to imagine that lera would see her unabashed dreamer younger self in asya and try to nurture that, but...)
