Bologna, 2026
Yesterday I was heading home, when I realised there was an impostor among the streetlights. The moon was so big I had to stop for a second.
As I came home, I shot both digital and film. This is the digital edit. I had only a faulty Tokina 80-200 mm, with a lot of dust and poor sharpness. Hope you enjoy anyways.

Germany. On my way to Dresden, I have stopped for a while in München, waiting for my next train. There was a cold and bright sun, my favorite, so I decided to head out and take some shots. The first thing I saw was this building. Really, nothing special, but it hits the vibe. After a few minutes and a sandwich, I was already on the train to Erfurt.
If you develop only one roll at a time using the paterson tank, always remember to put the spool with the film at the bottom of the tank. Otherwise you will not develop it homogenously. But for sure, once it happens (like for me with this roll) you'll never fail again.

Developing old rolls I had left behind.
This was a agfapan iso 25. I left it in the drawer for a couple of years and developed it with Rodinal. White satin, foggy all over, weak in contrast, very flat. I think there might be some cases in which this can help depict a specific environment and return a very particular look. Not my case right now tbh. The whole roll was quite disappointing. Blame goes mainly to my eye, as I did not know how to compose for this kind.
Anyways, the composition of this particular shot somehow really nailed it. Dark only on the two opposite subjects. Modern contradiction and its necessary satin.

Happy 2026. We celebrated New year's Eve at a friend's house in the low mountains of central Italy. There, many people gathered around fires lit in dead trunks along the streets.
I had a camera and a flash.

If you looked at the sea, your eyes would be pinned on that rock, as if it were a magnet in the water.

Every time I begin a shooting in the country side, I warm up with some power lines.
This was particularly hard to compose, as the sun was blitzing me blind.
