His russet eyes remained fixed upon her. Sōsuke allowed her to counter his taunt with a more childish one, but his grin had vanished, replaced by a stern expression, as if he disapproved of her reply. She was attempting to use his own tactics against him, which he found almost endearing. And no. Naturally, he was not taking this situation seriously. He was not in any danger; there was no risk involved in their little 'game.' But her in the other hand was all ready too comfortable.

That too was a challange. AND SHE DARED TOUCH HIM without his allowance.

That expression broke, in a soft rumble of a chuckle - hushed.

Cute....a word he knew was vile to her. He watched her eyes with softening browns as he tenderly felt her hand woth his, then just as fluently, he grabbed her wrist. He will give her a reason to scle her power.

SHE SPOTTED him just when it was too late. Akari slipped away into the living world quietly with a different goal in mind. Though, when she was passing by, she saw him there & attempted to slip away, only for him to call her out as she turned. ❝ I...had some free time. ❞ Sosuke's voice pinned her in place as if a child was caught sneaking out.

Akari attempted an excuse. It was true, of course, as her principle dictates. ❝ ⸻ i shall return home if you wish it.❞

"It's simply alright, Akari. I trust you enough."

He says as his thumb was used as a makeshift bookmark. He would have rumored she slipped away once she found he was gone. It was intriguing. He doesn't condemn her being here - its refreshing to see her out of her usual environment.
