people often see leaving a situation as the easy way out but it takes so much strength and courage to leave something that no longer serves you. to put yourself through the heartbreak, the change, the turmoil, the uncertainty, to give up on something you invested yourself into and feel like it was all a waste…. it’s why so many people stay trapped in toxic situations because familiarity feels comfortable even if it’s bad for you.
