my granddad just called me to tell me how big his cauliflowers are growing and it was so cute theyre “TWICE as big as the ones you get in the shop”

i told my granddad this post has 3,500 notes and he said ‘who are they? do i know them?’ he wanted me to list everyone and see if he knew anyone

Look how cute and happy he is though? Giant cauliflower brings this man such joy, and that’s the most innocent thing I’ve seen on my dash in a very long time. 

books are so beautiful; each page tells a story, literally and figuratively.  the bent corners and loose pages, the stains and waviness of pages once wet; they’re all indications as to what type of people have read the book.  they tell us where the book has been and let us simply imagine what it was doing there.  the words tell a story too obviously, but i often wonder how that’s the only story people pay attention to.

Have you ever really thought about how when you look at the moon, it’s the same moon Shakespeare and Marie Antoinette and Van Gogh and Cleopatra looked at.
