"Boredom" is the enemy of humanity, so I always look for stimulation in high places. Also, my profession exists to entertain a lot of people, so not seeking tranquility is also a type of professionalism. We just finished our tour in November but, I already want to do another concert, and create music. The moment that I put something I've created out into the world is super exciting, since there's the thrill of wondering if they'll like it or not. So, when "KITERETSU FIRE" was really well-liked, it gave me a dopamine boost, and I felt so good! During the opening of "WAKE UP THE FOOL," I took out my ear monitors and listened to the cheers until right before we went on stage.

What do you think of when it comes to winter trips? I really want to go to Akita right now. I love going to towns that are snowy in the winter. When I went with Jo-kun before, but I was taking to a powerhouse baseball school and I had to take pictures in front of it, so while it was a fun trip, I didn't really feel like I was in Akita (laughs), so next time, I'd like to take it easy. I want to go to the lake, eat kirintanpo, and meet a Namahage.

What if you were to give each other Christmas presents?

1: At least 2L of water I try to drink at least 2L of water a day to flush out waste. I heard a celebrity say that "water with a pH level of 7.4 is good," so I've been particular about the pH level, too.

2: Blueberries in the morning According to the mentalist DaiGo-san, eating blueberries in the morning is good for your skin, so I try to eat them as much as possible. When I don't have time, I take vitamins in capsule form, or drinks.

1: MUSIC Since I started doing solo activities and not just things in a group, I've had more chances to dive into genres that I'm unfamiliar with. It's not defensive, I'm on the attack. Now, I'm facing music while thinking about how I can express a side of myself that I haven't seen before.

2: JAPANESE AESTHETICS I simply like it (laughs). I have bonsai and tatami mats in my house, and also, the lighting in my dining room uses washi paper shaped like paper lanterns to give it a modern Japanese feeling. My specialty is also Japanese cuisine, and I can make basically anything. However, I haven't been making much lately, and yesterday I just had frozen gyoza (laughs). They're cooked without water, so they're simple to make, and really good!

3: FREEDOM It's like this for my solo activities too but, lately I've been given a high level of freedom for a lot of things~ .I don't force myself to do things that I don't want to do, and on the other hand, when it comes to things that I want to try, or things that I think are fun, I just try it out without really listening to the opinions of those around me. I'm passionate about my solo tour, and my voice acting work, plus I have strong feelings of wanting to take my fans with me to unknown worlds, so I do these activities with the feeling that we're doing them together.

How would you spend your ideal winter? I want to try a date to see the Christmas lights I've never gone to see the Christmas lights. Since I'd like to see them with the person I love. I don't have any place I want to go to in particular, I just admire the way people move! I usually just stay at home all the time but, when it becomes December, I put up a Christmas tree. It's quite huge at 190cm tall, so honestly, it gets in the way (laughs). I properly savour the Christmas spirit at home.

What would you like to do this winter? After all, concerts are our winter tradition This happens every year, but when it comes to winter, we do concerts, and I think that the fans also go through this cycle as well. When winter comes, we get excited like, the concerts are going to start! And, if we go to Hakata on tour, then I want to eat mizutaki. The mizutaki that I eat after a concert is really delicious and exceptional, so I definitely want to eat it this winter, too!

What if you were going to cook a meal for the person you love during a winter home date? Meat and potato stew I can't make elaborate dishes. I think you can't go wrong with meat and potato stew, it's something everyone loves, right? On the other hand, what I want someone to make for me is pumpkin soup. I want to eat it while being all snuggled up in a warm room.

What's something that made the Hey! Say! JUMP members laugh recently? We're always laughing out loud at stupid things We're a group that laughs at such stupid things that it's hard to remember (laughs). I think it's usually Arioka or Chinen who start the laughter~. Whenever Chinen finishes doing his own make up, he goes and stands behind the members who haven't yet finished theirs, and keeps looking at them in the mirror. It seems like he just wants to talk, so everyone will talk to him (laughs).

What's your standard fashion item in winter? I have to wear a down jacket! I wore one today too, but I have so many that I can wear one every day in the winter. I have them in black, white, moss green, and so on. I just bought two more white down jackets. Down jackets are easy to wear so they're perfect for work days, and they're comfortable and warm, which makes them the best! I also recently bought a brand character keychain. I love to add it to a simple bag as a playful accent.

What's something that happened lately with your niece? I can't see her in person, so I'm soothed by photos I haven't had much time to see her… My uncle activities are on hold. At times like that, I'm soothed by the photos and videos I get sent. I recently got photos of her shopping at a Japanese candy store, which made me feel so warm and fuzzy. I think I'll be able to see her at the start of the year, so I'll give her New Year's gifts!

Something you shot in the winter? Shooting the "snow moon" video in Karuizawa For the PV shoot for my solo song, "snow moon," I went to Karuizawa but, what really left an impression on me is that we did the shoot during a huge snowstorm. It was coming down off and on but, the first shot was during an especially bad snowstorm, so it was hard. But, I feel like snow has the effect of making images more vibrant and beautiful, so it's thanks to that that it turned out so well!

What's a winter spot that has remained in your memories since you were small? Disneyland I remember being taken to a lot of places in the summer, so in the winter, it might just be Disneyland. In the summer, having a barbecue by the river or the sea was a regular family outing. But, Disneyland during the Christmas season is always exciting. The land of dreams is incredible, huh…

What's the first thing you think of when you hear "winter"? The Christmas present that was put by my pillow every year When I got the Pokemon Pikachu version of the Game Boy, I was so happy. I properly wrote a letter to Santa with what I wanted, and when I woke up, there were gifts by my pillow. However, since there were three of us kids, we didn't know which present was which until we opened them but, when what I wanted appeared, I was so happy that I was on cloud nine.

Always think of the fans first An idol's job is to show what you've been working on behind the scenes. In that process, if you stick too much to interpersonal relationships and rules, the final product that reaches everyone will be a mess, which is the worst. I always try to not lose sight of who I'm doing this for.

Continuing to compete with skill and talent In this world, if you're only valued on your character and effort, I think it's the same as being told that you don't have any talent. To be working alongside talented actors, comedians and staff means that it's essential to constantly hone your skills and abilities.

I've always liked sweets made with sweet potatoes, so I also want to enjoy them this year, too. My friend and I have already found a cafe that has limited edition sweet potato sweets, and we've made plans to go eat them! Also, two years ago, I went to Karuizawa by myself, and the fall colours that I saw as I went to the soba shop were so pretty that I'd like to go see them again. Ideally, I'd like to relax in a place filled with nature that only the locals know about. I want to go to my parents' house and see my pet cat, Toki-kun. First, I want to give him a big hug while burying my face in him (laughs). Lately, I've been looking at the photos that my family sends me to try and ease my longing to see them again.

When I'm traveling, I use wired earphones! Wireless ones are fine, but I have to bring a charger with me to use them, which adds to my luggage, plus the wired ones look cute, so I love them (laughs). When I'm travelling, I use more energy than usual, so I guess I also bring scented items that can calm me down so I can feel refreshed. Of course, I have perfume, but before I go to sleep I use a portable air freshener and take deep breaths, which helps me relax. I bring a bunch of scents with me that have a natural feeling to them, like cypress, and I change them up depending on my mood. When I'm staying at a hotel, I tend to bring face packs that are slightly better than usual, and I'll spend a little bit of extra time on my skincare.

A Naniwa Danshi playlist with songs I want to listen to in the gall -"Yobaiboshi" -"Snowy Love" -"Mahougaoka"

"Yobaiboshi" seems like it suits the cooler season, and it seems like it would be good to listen to it while looking up at the sky and feeling connected to nature. I love the intro of "Snowy Love!" Since the Christmas lights often start at the end of fall, it might be nice to get a little bit of a headstart on winter. "Mahougaoka" has a catchy title which I like, and personally, it's a memorable song since I played the piano for it during concerts. It seems like it would go well with soothing scenery, and be emotional!

I always carry a tinted lip balm with me. Since I have a pale complexion, people often ask me, "are you okay?" even when I'm fine, so this is essential for making me look healthier. Also, it's a cliche, but my phone. I need it to the point that if I have even one minute of free time, I want to look at it, but when I need it, I can never find it. Even today in a studio for photos, I bring it with me when I'm on the go, but I often forget where I put it and I always have to search for it (laughs).

Grape flavoured soft candy For a while, I didn't get any allowance, I was only given money to put on my IC card so I could take the train to dance lessons. I remember that I once used the leftover money to secretly buy grape flavoured soft candy, and I got in trouble when my parents saw my leftover balance (laughs).

Sound effects on "Honmadekka?! TV" A long time ago, when there was a TV in the bedroom, my parents watched "Homadekka?! TV" every week. Every time I heard the sound effect that would play when a commentator would give their opinion, I would fall asleep while wondering what that sound was. Now, Rinne is also one of the viewers of the show ♪

The smell of the dressing rooms at Imperial Theatre Thankfully, I've been able to go to a bunch of venues, but whenever I enter the dressing rooms, I think, "this is it! The smell hasn't changed." In particular, the dressing rooms at the Imperial Theatre have a sense of history with the smell of the tatami, and it makes my chest warm to think of the many videos I've filmed there.

The slide in the city Since I no longer pass by the elementary school that I went to, whenever I see things like slides in the city, I wonder what elementary school kids are up to nowadays. I was playing a game where I was trying to balance on something that was the width of my shoe, and I felt into the carp pond - I wonder if it's still there?

The body pillow I've used for over 10 years I have a large body pillow, between 90-120cm, that my mom gave me, on my bed. It's already over 10 years old, so it's quite warn out, but because I like to sleep on my side while hugging something, I air it out in the sun when the weather is nice, and I take care of it.

Recent sensory experiences related to the members

The citrus smell emanating from Katsuki He uses scented products for both his hair wax and his lip cream, so when I'm close to him on stage, he smells citrussy.

Hoshiki's acting in "ANDO" Hoshiki's role is really good. As we continue with the show, his acting depicting his internal conflict just keeps getting better!

Konpi's delicate shoulders During the actual play performance, I've been masssaging his shoulders every day as part of an ad-lib, so I can immediately tell if they're stiff or not.

I ate pasta with Konpi I made it in the microwave, but I forgot to add the salt, so it wasn't good… Sorry, Konpi!

Taisho: The theme is "what's the strongest superpower?" Mizuki: The staff said they just want us to have fun while talking (laughs). Reia: It's good~! I want to always do interviews like this! Soya: I get it. But, I was listening to Taiko's solo interview, and he doesn't seem to know much about superpowers, right? Taiko: I don't think I can keep up with this interview! Reia: Ahaha! Well, there are people like that. Soya: To start with, let's assume that we're the only ones who have superpowers, and we fight as the 5 of us, and see who comes up with the strongest power. Reia: Will we be fighting in arenas or something? Mizuki: Will it be big? Soya: From Shibuya's Center Street to the New South Exit. Taisho: Are there buildings? Soya: Yeah. But, it's a battle in that range. Taiko: How high up does it go? Soya: You can go as high as you want. Taiko: Even into space? Soya: Sure. …But, you won't be able to breathe, you know? (Laughs) Taiko: I see… Reia: I want to fight with a superpower that I think is cool, so after all, I'm going to go with the super speed that Quicksilver from "X-MEN" has. I'll move at a speed that no one can react to. Taisho: It's a spinal reflex. After all, being fast is cool. Reia: Right. The faster you are, the more weight it carries, making it a strong technique. Mizuki, are you the type to create your own space? Mizuki: Creating a space for myself… I can do that now. Taiko: It was as superpower (laughs). Taisho: If someone said that Mizuki had a superpower to not let anyone get within a one metre radius of him, I'd agree with them (laughs). Reia: The power to become invisible and blend in with the walls would be good too, right? Soya: That's in "HUNTER x HUNTER." Reia: It just means the enemy can't find you (laughs). Mizuki: If you get caught, is it all over? That's dangerous. Taisho: How about Taiko has a superpower where he can make his nose hair grow? Reia: That's "Bobobo-Bo Bo-Bobo!"
