part of being happy is being selfish. once you understand and accept that, you’ll see a dramatic shift in your life. if your heart fully isn’t in something then don’t waste your time settling. another part of happiness is balance. you mustn’t cast away everything and everyone with the hope of replacing it/them with something better. it’s the quickest way to destroy yourself. understand that settling and compromising with something/someone are two totally different things and you shouldn’t get the two confused in your path to happiness.
