hi hello!! just reaching out to say hi and give you some anime recommendations!! i recently binge watched Sakamichi no Apollon and I LOVED IT (heads up: the main two VA's are Asahi and Bokuto's VA!! and also Asahi's VA speaks with an accent here and it was weirdly attractive idk). Also have you watched Her Blue Sky and A Whisker Away? And pls watch Kaguya Sama Love is War if you haven't already it's HILARIOUS. Chihayafuru is also a good one!!
+ oh GoD and watch Hello World! I also recently watched Toilet Bound Hanako-kun and I think the plot is very unique. Kono Oto Tomare is also a good one! Some classic, relatively old ones are Noragami, Kamisama Hajimemashita (if you haven't watched it alrd!). Sorry for going on a rant, ik we all are always in need of anime recommendations

I do get their point, and mostly agree with them though. I think taking commissions might be fine, but making your own merch of something that isn’t yours is kinda meh.

Yeah, I think, theoretically, selling fan work of something that is not your original content/that you did not create, is illegal. I mean, it's basically stealing someone else's ideas/concepts and selling them as your own, isn't it? Even if you state it't not your character/concept then that's still pretty shitty, because you're selling someone else's content without their permission.
+ I see a lot of people doing that too, but I doubt it's actually legal. Like, the creator of the original content could sue you. I haven't seen it happen, though. In my personal opinion, I think selling fan work or conent based on something that is not your own idea shouldn't be thing, though. It's kinda srealing tbqh
