US letter-size, folded in half (8.5in x 5.5in), black/white printing, done at a self-serve printing place. It's cheaper to do it at the library.
Stapled with a swing-arm stapler, but normal stapler is okay too (see example with eraser)
A collection of short fancomics I posted to my blog starting 2024. I was reading the Shonen Jump Guide to Making Manga and decided to do the "just make 1-2 pages" things and try it out. All the comics are listed here! (Mashita/Yashiki)
The art is done in Procreate, and the lettering in Clip Studio Paint. The brushes and stuff are listed on my blog, they're mostly things I downloaded or made. I could have used any other program to draw or letter this comic, there's lots of free or cheap graphics programs.
Process video, but honestly, I think there's a million ways to do this part and you can do it any way you like as long as you can hit the minimum DPI. Also I don't know how to tone still π€·
The last part was using Affinity Publisher to place all my files and input the text. If you link the images, any time you update the files in the folder, the Affinity file will update when you open it next. (Affinity is free, but I already bought it before.)
Last part is saving my file to be printed in a booklet! In this case, I have a 16 page file where I print it on 8 sheets of paper (front and back)

And then you fold and staple it after you print it out. School, library, self-serve, print shop, etc.
Cheaply made (in a North American context), fast printing. Decent if you're making <10 copies (which is where I am at). Fits in a letter mail envelope.

Covers are occasionally printed at the local print shop on colour paper, but I decided to keep it simple this time.
