“ Let’s see... the client need a herb that could prevent heartache, but the information I got is to gather red color herbs...” Kai would ruffle on his bag and showed her the herbs he had gathered. They were alot of different types but non of them are the ones matches the description. “ So... did I pick up the right one?” Kai asked.

“Oh, that’s so nice of you!” She smiled at the other as she willingly accepted both the mug and the blanket, taking hold of the first one with both her hands to warm them up. Despite it was summer, the northern paths and snow didn’t spare a single corner of the mountains. They were still on the side that faced the southern lands, but being so close to the Freljord had its effects.

“ I was just thinking you would need it since it’s getting cold out here… How’s things going on? If you’re asking me… My contracts are going well so far! Successfully claimed it just now. ” Kai asked as he gives her a warm smile, he was glad the mug and blanket was accepted.

“ Picking up some specific herbs for a sick client, apparently it was the easiest task I got so far, but... do you know a few things about herbs? I kinda need your help on that...Hopefully I didn’t bring the wrong ones.... ” Kai blushed as he scratches on his head, feeling embarrassed just to asked for help from Mirabelle.

“ To be honest! Take the bed if you can! It’s not good for a lady to sleep uncomfortably. Besides, I’m more fond of sleeping on the ground.” Kai said as he doesn’t want Mirabelle to feel weirded out.

“ Urmm... sensitive topic...? I’m sorry...” Kai rubs his head feeling that he just made the girl mad. “ I didn’t have anyone ever since, don’t even know what is the feeling of having a family to be honest. I’m constantly stuck in a loop of being lonely and fighting my own fight. Nobody wants to be near a stranger.” Kai sighed.

"Hah! Get that!"

“ Hey! Come back here Mirabelle!!!” Kai rushes over to her with a smile.

“ What the...? That’s cheating.” Kai puff his cheek, before he sniffle the spot where Mirabelle disappeared. “ I still can smell you... i guess... “ Kai chuckled.

“ Hey! Come back here Mirabelle!!!” Kai rushes over to her with a smile.

“ There’s no black and white on what we done in Runeterra... We have to play by the rules to get some food on the table, if it pays well, I don’t see any problem with it.” Kai said in a sad tone, he would leans down slowly. “ I have to seek answers. To the bottom of everything. I’m going for the roots of the organization and destroy it. ” Kai whispers quietly for Mirabelle, then slowly lean back again to eat the skewer meat. “ Hmmph~ It taste better and better each bite!” Kai winks.

“ Each of us get our own task to be completed. If we do not complete the task, it would be passed on to others with extra pay. So you can imagine us Lone Wolves would betray each other to gain more profit for themselves. I would not try something that stupid... What comes around goes around. Don’t you agree?” Kai would sighed.  Suddenly something was tapping the window, Kai looks over as he opens the window, there was a wolf holding a letter in its mouth, Kai took it and gave the wolf a pat, then the wolf dashes away. “ Hmm... Guess someone fail their task.” Kai frowned, he seems sad to receive the letter.
