Im curious about this french host! Whats his genjina or host2 page?
He uses his real name as his genjina, Vincent. His friends and people who knew him before he was a host call him Naoki though. (It was the name he preferred to go by back then.) He doesn’t have a host2 page yet as he recently switched from Ekam to a Fuyutsuki group club.There used to be another French host who went by the genjina Naoki, but as far as I know he’s quit hosting… (So for anyone who kind of knows who I’m talking about, don’t confuse the two!)

what does it mean if a host pays for your bill in full or half your bill?
Be very careful with this.Are you absolutely sure the host said he will pay for you? Are they asking for your id and taking it to the back? Are you signing something? (Though not always), be very careful you aren't mistaking this for 売り掛け (urikake - you have until a set date, usually shimeibi at the end of the month, to pay by, otherwise things get bad for both you and your host, especially if he doesn't have the money to pay it upfront, as it will come out of his pay check). Other than that, if there are things missing from your bill at the end or if he seems to be giving you free drinks or, luckily enough paid for your whole set, great! Try not to think too deeply of it, it could be some weird selling technique, or paying for you to shimei him on, for example, and event day may have been cheaper than the bakkin (penalty fee) he might have had to pay if he didn't call a customer!Be careful, and happy hosting!

Hi there! Shokai (初回) is where you go a club for the first time for a cheap price (usually between ¥1000-¥3000) and, in effect, you are introduced to as many members of the 'cast' of hosts who work at the club for a brief period (usually around 5/10mins each for 1 hour up to 2) accompanied by nomihoudai (all you can drink). At the end of your time at shokai you will be asked to choose the host you favoured the most as your okuri shimei, he will then exchange contacts with you and escort you to the door. If you choose to go back to that club he will usually be your tantou and you would then begin to spend a lot more money to see him/ spend time in that club and drink.Donki is just a chain store selling a load of imported goods that offers tax free shopping for tourists.ヾ(＠⌒ー⌒＠)ノ

I haven't shimeid in a while, it's weird. They all either kept pestering for too much, or I just felt like a change. Last time I shimeid was in Fuyutsuki groups' 'Clear -Sense-' 3部店..... At 1部。 They had some weird day where the cast swapped round for night and day. I just wanted to see Yusuke (dude in my picture), although he's not my tantou there. When I got there the mise was entirely empty despite it already being 10pm, probably because of the weird event. By closing, every other customer (7 other tables, ish) were either Yusuke's customers or shokai customers who had nominaoshi'd him. Respect! Haha. He was nice enough to come to my table for a bit and comment on my foreign nose (what's new) and pull my cheek a bit. Dude seems nice enough! And thumbs up in terms of fashion!!

Ok so here's a list of some things some female host-goers I know have said to me; + 'Why would you be friends with or date a host, that's just f**king retarded. They're all terrible people who lie and want nothing but your money' - half a year later girl is dating a host/ harassing another host half way across the country because she's oh-so in love. Lol. + 'Host clubs ruin lives. I will make it a point of my pride never to play in kabuki again. Ever. How can you waste money on that place? You're so stupid, get a life.' -Girl you think people don't call me (not that I want them to) and tell me your all messy in their club and spending other peoples money, again. Was that last night, or the other day, or both? Only one looking stupid is you! Pff. +'Oh my god you're so nice and you're Japanese is so good thanks for taking me here (kiss ass, lol). Let's definitely go again! ' - shortly followed by posts of my personal tab information on the internet and how I ignored her for the whole time and it was totally boring and she never wants to go again. Cool! +'Omg take me to shokai, I always wanted to go, I have money it's fine I'll pay for myself' - Bill comes, idiot jounais like three dudes, puts in a few small drinks, proclaims she 'didn't know what that was' and leaves me with the bill early to go clubbing in roppongi with all that money she had. And he came to my table and asked if I know you, and then asked if he could sit with me because you're annoying. Troll. Girls, I have/have had enough fun in Kabuki in host clubs and bars and with friends. That place is pretty damn entertaining enough as it is without all this bs. If you go to kabuki and enjoy it there's not any shame in that. I don't know why some of you feel the need to get all hypocritical and territorial about it. Grow up, I'm younger than most of you!
So like, casually chillin at midnight with a cigarette outside Lawson in kabuki. Some host club on the ground floor has their door open and the most god awful ダサイ champagne call noise is like blasting out into the street. Way to advertise how crappy your 店 is. Pffff
OSCAR tokyo- I think this is like the fifth time in a year I've ended up at shokai here, and the cast has changed like every freakin time. On weekdays, as the cast admitted, it's always completely lacking in customers. I don't like dead clubs usually but in reverse it meant like 6 guys were sat with us so we could play a lot of fun drinking games etc. I think it's not bad if that happens, but I wouldn't shimei here out of personal taste. They have pretty much every type of host there though, style-wise. And, uh, apparently a panda-riding horse man. Fantastic. ... If you're out reasonably late at 1部 on a weekday and are having trouble getting in cus it's late, or if you're with someone underage, they will pretty much just let you in (countless times).

I had gotten several asks regarding a particular post that was glorifying selling yourself and "suffering" for your host, and I simply wanted to let everyone know that that is NOT normal and that you should respect yourself. Perhaps next time you should be more specific when you post on a pretty broad topic. It sounds to me like you just realize the hole you dug and now are trying to do whatever you can to get out of it.
I am not proud of what I am doing? Yeah exactly, because I have an amazing job, amazing friends, I can afford to feed myself, take vacations, enjoy my life and be completely happy and satisfied with myself inside and out. Yeah, I am not proud of this at all.
Also if I was insecure about sharing my stories and experiences, would I even be posting publicly in the first place? Probably not.
Who said I only worked at foreign bars? I have worked as a hostess, I have worked in multiple snacks, I worked directly with the yakuza for two and a half years and still communicate with a lot of them on a regular basis because they are friends of mine.
Also perhaps you should re-read you original post because you specifically state that you have been around Kabukicho for several years now.

For the record
I will be the judge of whether or not I have a 'ruined life'. I do not. I know who my real, sweet friends are that don't bitch about me or backstab me, and a beautiful family who love me. Hey everyone, I have some advice for you regarding host clubs! Why don't you go to a host club if you want to and enjoy it however the hell you please? Because it's YOUR life, YOUR choice, and there is no handbook on how to have fun in Kabukicho.
