i occasionally check in on tumblr and think "yup. the little pocket people still agree with me."
so essentially it's morally justified for me to do whatever i want
do you agree you smell bad
all they do is hate on me i'm a victim
can someone strike them down before i cry

you can boop yourself??!!!
get urself a friendship that has a girlboss and a boyfailure
orv fandom is very unique in that the fanart consists more of walls of text dedicated to that one reader instead of images. in that sense every word typed is the story keeping that guy alive
kdj: FUCK IT *becomes a metaphor for love*
we did it guys investigrave canonised angelcoded manon blessed be the heavens upon the starving children

unbelievable how orv managed to build a world where every character is torn out of their pages. not just kdj but every character has depth,,,, the reader is in kdj's shoes at the start, seeing everyone else as he does. they're just characters, names, and concepts. but no. no no no. orvification happens and suddenly they're PEOPLE. people with capacities to love and hate and laugh and cry. people who are vessels of grief. i hate orv
ive always wanted to storyboard chapter 2 of the ORV web novel the way i saw it in my own head - here's the first part of what i've done so far!
everything about this is so perfect
the way dokja awkwardly turns back to his phone after his conversation with sangah is making me cackle i love him if this isn't how the animated adaptation goes then i don't want it
orv is horrible in that you fully trust the narrator. even by the end, you know kim dokja is a liar to both himself and therein his readers. but you still choose to believe his words. you choose to love him because he is so fundamentally wounded by the narrative. it's hard not to fall for a narrator of whom you know has no capacity to love himself, despite being love's incarnate.
it's just because he believes in readers that the readers believe him.
kim dokja is not just text in a book. yes, he's the words, the text, the content. but he's each typewritten letter, the ink and the lackthereof in the spaces in between. he's the gaps between the lines, and he's every thought that was thought while filling the empty space. he is love and life personified as much as he is hate and malice characterised.
it's so fucked up yjh's main colour is black and kdj's is both black and white. has to be some sort of metaphor for text and pages ... yjh is all the text and kdj literally just copies him down to his attire, but the fact it's not all black like yjh's is so twisted. in all his vain attempts, kdj will never be a character. he'll never be text. he'll never be all he strives to be: he'll never be yjh. but hsy? hsy is kdj. hsy grieves him. to hsy, kdj is more achievable than yjh is to kdj. they are flawed. they're not just the text, but the page, and the book, and the story.
