❤️ Monamo 1st anniversary💕

September 11-13, 2019

As I looked at my planner and saw the things that I wrote, planned and did, I've realized that so many things have happened for the past years. Things changed drastically and most of all, I've changed.

I feel deep in my heart that I am not the person whom I used to be.

I felt like I died and came back to life with a new perspective about everything. The old me was gone, The new me is here.

It was like something that covered my eyes, my heart for a long time were removed in order for me to see things in a brighter way and feel things lightly. My heart is at peace. My soul calm down.

Its amazing to know that everything really happens for a good reason. Whomever you are with,Whatever you do,Wherever you are in your Life right now is molding you to be the person God wants you to be and You are exactly where you are supposed to be.

Every situation has a lesson. Life is indeed a series of test. whenever you surpass a difficult situation in your life it will make you become better until you reach the best version of yourself.

I thank God for all the good and the bad things that happened, everything is just right. Everything just fall into place. Everything made sense.

I am enlightened.

God's will, God's Grace, God's Plan.

Trust, Hope, Believe.

Not everyone is as lucky as I am.

I have found someone with whom I can share my deepest secrets, my laughs, my tears, and everything in between.

You listen and you care, and I never doubt your love for me.

Words can't begin to describe how you make me feel.

I feel safe in your arms, and I know you'll always be around to protect me.

It's impossible to imagine what my life was like without you.

Even though we joke around a lot and though we might not express our love directly,

I know that even during hard times, fights, and periods when we don't see each other,

Your love is present in many other ways.

I thank God every day for bringing us together.

I thank you for the way you love me.

For the light you bring to my life.

For the joy you've given me.

For every day I get to spend with you.

Because every day is one more day I can fall more in love with you.

Thank you for making me the happiest woman on this earth. I am truly blessed to have you in my life.

I wish I could travel through time just so I could hug my old self and tell her that everything is going to work out fine. I would wipe the tears off her pretty face and tell her she was beautiful until she believed me. I would hold her hands and tell her that everything in her life would turn out perfect.

I’d explain to her how every single situation and trauma she went through was to give her more beauty and strength. How every scar would become a story. One that she could choose to associate with or leave behind. How every person she loved and lost would contributed to who she would become.

I’d tell her not to look back.

That that isn’t the way of the warrior.

That she is not a victim. But she is a victor.

One day she will rise up from every destruction to create a new.

She will learn to seek the challenge knowing she will come out of it stronger.

She will embrace the darkness knowing she has the power to transform it to light.

That one day, with these gifts, she will change herself, and change the world. That she will train others to do the same. That she will be a force for good.

But then I pause, and I think how knowing this ahead of time would have lessened her pain.

And if she didn’t struggle as much as she did, she wouldn’t have to learn to surrender.

If she wasn’t stuck in the darkness, she wouldn’t have run towards the light.

If she wasn’t drowning, she wouldn’t have fought so hard to breathe.

If she wasn’t lost, she wouldn’t know what she needed to find.

I would tell her that every single hardship, every tear, every emotion deeply felt by her would lead her to me.

I feel like everything in my Life has led me to you. My choices, My heartbreaks, My regrets. Everything.

To my Monamo (Mon Amour💕), the one that really matters in this book of mine...

I want to Thank You because It was you who came and helped heal me.

Thank you for Holding me when I would sob inconsolably about the past and another person who hurt me.

Thank you for showing me how I actually deserve to be treated.

Giving me new days and traditions to embrace and love.

Proving to me that I was actually enough just the way I was.

Fighting for me when I shut down and shut you away.

Accepting that I am broken

Loving me exactly the way I am.

Thank you for coming into my life when I needed a second chance. They say that when someone leaves, it is because someone else is about to arrive and It was you.

I was a completely different person than I used to be. I was unlovable. I never wanted to love again and I never thought that I could be loved again.He left me so insecure and broken. He made me so scared to trust anyone else. He made me feel like I was not good enough.

Then THERE WAS YOU.

You who gave me reason to believe again. You who opened my heart to Love Again. It has been so long since I have smiled like there's no tomorrow, so long since I have loved like this. You made me believe in Love again after my heart was crushed into a million tiny pieces. You made me laugh again. You made me stop believing that all guys treated girls badly because of how you cared for me.

You were everything He and all of the guys I've met before wasn't. I could write novels with the blood from the scars my first love and all the other guys had left me. And yet YOU STILL LOVED ME, despite all of that baggage.

You taught me that I must stop pushing myself to Fall in Love with the wrong people and just sit back and wait for the right person to come along.

You taught me how to become myself again. You saw me at my weakest point, You took the Challenge and You brought me back to Life.

Everything Happens For a Reason and you came along to Prove why it all happened and why my first Love and all the other men I met, did not last.

Almost like Magic. You came and I fell in Love again.
