I dont think we talk anough about how Wolf, Aside from everything that makes him... Wolf.. is actually a good father ! Nit necessarily a good father figure but as a dad, he takes his role really seriously and all. Like when one of his boys is sad, or feel unwell, he's ready to cancel everything he planned, even the most perfect plan to catch rabbit, just so send time with him and make sure he's okay. Also in that one episode where the boys get lost and Wolf is very worried, he's all like "my baby boysss 😭😭 I could do anything to have them back😔" and so he does. Idk I find this touching. Maybe its because I dont have a good father figure that I think that, but idk i find this so sweet. When I first started watching, I thought "oh yeah, a fat old grumpy single dad, what a cliché" yeah but hey, at least he cares about them <:3 ?
Another thing ide like to talk about is how fox gets actually involved in Wolfs family. Like now he's literally everywhere. Y'know like in that "vote for lucy" épisode, he participates the campaign to elect Wolf's children as school delegates or whatever idk. Like... why ?? Why do you care ?? Wolf is their father so he obviously cares and all but why is Fox here ? Its not your children. Especially for this, with fox's arrogance ide imagine him think its just a dumb school thing. It feels like Fox is genuinely everywhere the whole family is, he's practically part of the family now. You know I imagine Barry talking abt his family like : "oh yeah, in my family, theres me, my brother Simon, Dad and fox !" It really just feels like those divorced parent who get in a new relationship and their kids just call the new partner "my dads boyfriend" ( idk my parents arent divorced :/ ). Anyway so either Fox actually cares for the boys now, or since it makes Wolf proud than he should be too (cuz yknow 🏳️🌈) or he just doesnt have anything better to do since Wolf is busy with this.
