gross, grungy garage bins! honestly grossed myself out doing this bc imo there's nothing grosser than an unidentifiable brown on a garbage bin

door and windows detail!

(the door, windows, and little other bits are only taped on for show rn- im going to glue them on after im finished painting)

just want to highlight my tiny, yet dilappated, basketball hoop- used another hairpin for the hoop itself, and essentially macramed the net with some thin string

realllllly wanted to make the door on an actual hinge, using an old hair hair pin as an axis, but I ran into some roadblocks (first and second picture) because I made the little cardboard hinge too tight, but by making the hinge longer and therefore looser, I got it working!!

As posted earlier, I’m building Entrance B from 13 Storeys, a council estate built with the explicit intention of being a demoralizing and demeaning place to live. I’m upping the looming factor with an overhanging second story, a poorly maintained outdoor space, and of course, the bright yellow barred windows that on of the protagonists remark always seemed more of a warning to the occupants than any sort of protection.

I've still yet to paint them but i am veryyyyy happy with how they turned out.

overall im actually very happy with how she turned out, especially how 3D she really is all the way around, even if i severely underestimated how much time it would take

drawings from the first half of today's animation workshop! we were put into groups to tell each other anecdotes and draw based on them: the prompts were airport security, neighbors, and cooking disasters, in order of appearance.
