The diversity of living organisms in our environment is a result of the evolutionary process. When studying evolution it is important to consider the origin of the universe and origin of the life. In the past, there were many beliefs about the origin of the universe.

Origin of the earth

Various types of elements at the center of the Earth reacted with each other and different types of gases were formed. At first, the atmosphere of the Earth had gases such as Carbon dioxide (CO₂), Methane (CH₄), and Hydrogen sulfide (H₂S). The absence of Oxygen (O₂) in the early atmosphere is a  significant fact.
