i hope everyoneās recovered well from the holidays and all. personally, i think i might be settled in the mindset of not working for another couple of months. purely cause i enjoy getting to sleep in the mornings. but also cause i think i need three to five months in order to recover from the annual christmas family drama. nothing too dramatic ā except for the fact iām pretty sure my ears are still ringing from my mother yelling at me in the kitchen. like iām terribly sorry i brought out a too littleĀ colendar. didnāt know you could have seven different ones. ā as an adult iāve also tended to enjoy having my birthday between christmas and new years.. but iām getting to the age where iām starting to feel there is too little time to recover in between. christmas is what it is and as lovely as it is between the shouting, thereās a ton of eggnog and monopoly. then the birthday hits and itās rarely a downbeat occasion - and before you can blink you have to stare at the fireworks as we welcome a new year and convince yourself theyāre real and not just your head feeling like itās ābout to explode. ā surely my agent wonāt mind me taking three months off right? hope your holiday were good. | @gonehollywoodstartersā
It might take me a few more weeks to fully recover from the insanity of the holidays. It can be so draining when youāre an adult. I miss the goodĀ āole days when it was on my parents to provide the magic. Wait, seven different ones? Iām probably adulting very wrong if seven is the appropriate number of colanders to own. I can imagine why that might be difficult for you. Like I said earlier, Iām going to need a couple weeks worth of rest. Especially as a new mom of a months old baby. It can get to be quite a lot, but I wouldnāt have it any other way. Fight for your time. You deserve it.Ā
