Douma, Gyutaro, and Akaza are repeats while Enmu is brand new.

Must say out of the repeats Douma looks better than his previous version; didn’t have nearly as many colors this year though so Akaza got stuck with red hair.

In this au, his fake spider family is his biological family. His siblings don’t like him much because he’s the runt of the litter, his mother is overly protective of him yet still manages to be neglectful, and his father seems to be the only one who cares for him in some capacity because of that shared desire for the wild.

Spider was born as a kittypet and was eventually lured in by the forest just beyond the fence. He escaped through a hole in said fence and explored the vast new area available to him. This, however, did not go in the direction he had hoped it would go in. He was attacked by the forest cat, leaving a nasty cut over his left eye. This cat was Muzan; or as known in this au, Nightblood. Spider could have possibly been killed if it wasn’t for Sunslash (Yoriichi) saving him.

Spider had then run away without thinking of where he was going, getting lost in the alleyways of the nearby town and running into white she-cat with burns on her body.

Spider acts very different from Rui, this is mainly due to demons not existing in this world and him not having the slightest chance to ever follow behind Nightblood after what they did to him.

- Spider has a more child-like demeanor, but he knows when to be serious and act on business

- Spider doesn’t have that strong desire for family that Rui does, he rather has a desire to create a place where the street cats can live peacefully and work with each other

- For those who read Warriors, Spider’s story is based off of Scourge’s, but it doesn’t progress in the same way nor does it share every single aspect

- Spider has a massive interest in the creatures that are his namesake. He collects all kinds of spiders and keeps them in his den, taking good care of them. The local medicine cat often gets permission to collect spider webs from his den

This clan mainly consists of cats who are more active at night and use the shadows to their advantage in their hunting and fighting. It’s camp is nestled in an abandoned lot that is slowly being overtaken by foliage.

Demons do not exist in the Demon Slayer x Warriors universe, nor do demon slayers. Most of the cats that make up Nightclan do happen to be demons in the canon, but that does not mean they act the same.

The hierarchy doesn’t exactly go the way you’d expect it, and that is because of one key factor; Nightblood (Muzan) does not live in Nightclan.

He’s in a completely different clan and Nightclan governs itself, having no association with the cat. Regardless, Nightclan does have a special way of organizing it’s hierarchy compared to the other clans.

Leader:

- Spiderstar (Rui) is the founder of this clan, leading it with a gentle yet firm paw. He came into leadership young, but showed he was capable of gaining cats’ respect through helping them feel like they had a place in his clan, like they were family. He proved long ago in a battle near the beginning of the clan that he’ll do anything to protect his clan mates from danger, and that is why the clan trusts him to make the right decisions.

- While young, he is incredibly intelligent and uses his strong curiosity to benefit the clan. He keeps the clan together with his leadership and decides whether to allow any new cats to join, which usually depends on a cat’s willingness to provide for the clan and wether or not they’re a troublemaker. He also dictates where the clan expands as he doesn’t want to disturb the border between Nightclan and Sunclan.

Deputy:

- Bloodslash (Gyutaro) is Spiderstar’s second in command despite being older than the young leader. He respects and trusts Spiderstar due to the fact he’s been there since Spider had initially come to twoleg place, he’s basically raised Spider and knows that the cat is capable.

- Bloodslash’s duties consists of giving out tasks to the clan. This includes hunting and border patrols, nest construction, apprentice assignments and tests, and the occasional herb raid if the medicine cat requests. He takes his job seriously and ensures each cat he’s assigned to a task is capable of fulfilling it.

Medicine cat:

- Dreamwhisper (Enmu) is the clan’s medicine cat due to his knowledge of the herbs that reside in twoleg gardens and was the one who came up with the idea of raiding them. These raids are small and do not leave noticeable damage to the plants, they take extra care to ensure to only take what is needed. This keeps the herb supply healthy and full throughout the year.

- Dreamwhisper is considered to have to most important job in the whole clan. He is responsible for the health of every single cat in the clan, treating their injuries and taking care of them if they’re sick. Their lives are in his paws. But don’t be fooled by his job, he is in no way gentle. He’s snarky and brutally honest, he will not sugar coat anything while treating his patients and will do whatever is necessary to ensure they’re healthy again. If their is ever an event where a cat can not be treated and dies, he’s in charge of preparing the cat for burial, which is usually just covering the scent of death with flowers and moving the body out of the medical den so cats can mourn without crowding his space.

- He is, however, empathetic towards cats with disabilities as he’s disabled himself; having a twisted left paw and a short tail that messes with his balance. Although he absolutely loathes when cats pity him, he doesn’t believe his disability sets him back and he’s insistent that he could easily be a warrior if he wanted to.

I’ll talk about the rest of the hierarchy later, I just wanted to get my basic thoughts out of the three most important cats out first.
