Bruce stares at the cat and chuckled when Booger decided that they are his lie down spot, pulling Nate closer, kissing the top of his head. “Go back to sleep, I’m right here.”

Nate nodded and let his eyes fall shut with a quiet noise of agreement. Considering he was more asleep than he was awake it really wouldn’t take him very long at all to doze off. “Okay.” The word was more of a breath than it was speech, the younger man falling asleep while saying it.

Bruce made a mental note about asking Nate to bring his kittens to the mansion, they’d love the all the open space and they’d have to be tracked by a tracker but the small sad mew from blueballs made him sad for a bit.

A small chuckle left his mouth and wrapped his arms around Nate again, pulling him closer. “Nah, I rather take care of you.”

The words and arms wrapped around made him keep smiling a sleepy smile. “Hmm, no complaints here.” He responded before tucking his head against Bruce’s chest. “You’re so warm. One of the best parts of sharing a bed.” One of the other cats, a darker cat with green eyes (Booger, read the tag on his collar) leapt up onto the bed, studying the two for a moment before deciding the proper place to lie down was on top of them. “That’s normal.” Nate reassured Bruce almost immediately.

Bruce showed up at Nate’s apartment, snatching the kitties that wanted to have an adventure outside and closed the door behind him. He got everything ready and stripped down to his boxers, slowly climbing under the covers behind Nate and wrapped his arms around the younger male. “It’s me.”

Blueballs, as disappointed as she was to be unable to make her grand escape, simply shot Bruce a sad look before strolling to the cat tree to jump up to the higher levels. Her favorite place to scope things out, even without the lights on and with the curtains all drawn. 

And normally, his medications had Nate out like a light. But, he knew Bruce would be showing up at some point and as he felt the covers move (and gently pulled loose from his grasp in the process) he groaned a little bit. “Hey you.” He muttered once he recognized the voice, voice slurred with grogginess as he smiled a bit with eyes barely opening. 

Scott followed suit, hanging his jacket on the hook by the door. The blankets were already pulled back and messy so, Scott clambered right in, opening his arms to Nate.

“Nah, i’m gonna stay down here and study.” Scott kept a hand hovering over Nate’s shoulder just in case. In case he fell, in case the pain got too bad. He was always trying to be ready for anything. He let out a snort. “’Course i’m gonna lay with you.”

“I’ve had worse.” He replied with a small smile. “Do you want to lay in my bed and get some rest or something?” Scott always felt bad when he saw Nate with his migraines. Especially since the wolf couldn’t really relate to the pain being pretty well immune to everything.

He could just carry Nate out and complete that multi-tasking but, that’s probably not quite what he’d meant. Instead, Scott let out a slight hiss as he tried to milk some of the pain away from his boyfriend.
