However, I think this "joke," is significantly symbolic to Kakashi. Behind his mask, was truly another mask, to hide his true self, and his scars, and his tears, and his horrible past. It really was another mask to disguise him, to show that no matter how much we knew him back then, there really was more to Kakashi than meets the eye. What a beautiful character. What a beautiful person. I truly admire Kaksshi for what he was, and what he is now.
