WE NOW MEET THE WICKED GROUNDS ANNEX!

We have listened to your requests for MORE SPACE and we have LISTENED! We are now using the Wicked Grounds ANNEX location. It is bigger, more private and outside food is allowed! What is the catch? We are paying to rent the space so now asking everyone for a $10-30 sliding scale donation.

This is an experiment for our group. No will be turned away for lack of funds, but those who can contribute more are encouraged to be generous. Wicked Grounds needs our support!

Where is the Annex? DIRECTLY ABOVE the Wicked Ground’s storefront. Please note that the Annex space at 293 8th St has STAIRS and no elevator. Let our moderator know if you have accessibility concerns. After 8pm the door will be locked so ring the buzzer to be let in!

Beards, body hair, flat chests, big bellies, baldness, mismatched clothes and flaws bless members of all genders and do not make you automatically un-feminine. We span a huge spectrum of gender expression. Come be yourself at our unique and supportive community munch and adventurous afterparty.

You do not have to be femme to celebrate femininity, admirers and explorers are also welcome. The word “sissy” targets the feminine (and ultra-feminine) with derision so we use the word carefully when talking about gender expression. This is a triggering term for many but some of our members choose to reclaim it and we respect their choice.

Please flash us your pretty panties as you change into something more adventurous! It is fun to share our transformations with each other. Many of us have no safe place to get dressed so doing so as a group can be very empowering.

Makeup is also welcome! No one was born knowing how to put on cosmetics so it can be helpful to practice and learn together. Limited makeover assistance is sometimes available, bring whatever makeup you have and try to arrive early if possible.

We adjourn to Bondage-a-Go-Go to dance the night away. “BAGG” is a kinky nightclub around the corner at the Kat Club. This bar is 21+ only, please bring ID. They have a dance floor and a small dungeon where limited BDSM play is allowed (genitals must be covered). There is a cover charge that varies depending on special events, dress code level (all black and/or fetish wear) and club membership.

If you feel unsafe walking dressed up to or from your car, we are glad to support you through carpools and the buddy system. YOU ARE NOT ALONE!

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT! SF PAGEANT Sept 18th

I am so excited to share this news with you!

After a lot of negotiation, calendar checking and calling in favors…

WE HAVE A PAGEANT DATE FOR SAN FRANCISCO!!!

As you can see, we are inching closer to our fundraising goal but we haven’t reached it yet. I can’t wait any longer. I am too excited. We have been waiting for this for too long.

The closer we get to our fundraising goal, the better our first pageant will be. If you want a flyer campaign, boosted posting on social media, club stickers and BIG CROWNS then NOW IS THE TIME TO PLEDGE.

I am nervous but passionate about this new adventure with all of you and this campaign makes these events and our similar outreach events sustainable. I can’t do this alone. Thank you so much for supporting this dream of supportive, inclusive and FUN gender adventurer events!

The 1st EVER Mx SFCD Pageant will take place on Sept 18th! Mark your calendars!

Celebrity Judges To Be Announced!

Please arrive promptly at 7pm to register if you would like to compete for the title!

This year, the categories are: - Fashion - Interview - “Talent”

Previous competitions in New Orleans and Los Angeles have included burlesque acts (genitals must stay covered), karaoke, performance art, poetry and human pet tricks! Musical instruments and assistants are allowed in your talent performances. We have limited amplification available, please have your music in digital form or accessible via wifi.

If you do not have a prepared talent or are lacking inspiration, there is a special naughty “talent” that we will teach you. After the talent portion of the competition, pageant participants will have an opportunity to change clothing and freshen up before the final presentation and crowning on stage at the Cat Club.

Start practicing and planning your costume now! If you’re not brave enough to step up, come cheer on our brave contestants!
