MOVED.

        edward:    she has pretty mixed feelings about edward,    mostly owed to his mind-reading.    he’s the one who initiated the idea of adopting her into the family and so i think he’s kinder to her than most,    more understanding because he has that insight into her head,    and she likes that he can see her for more than what she did.    however she’s not a fan of the idea of not having privacy,    and feeling like she has to keep her thoughts in check so to not make him uncomfortable.    other than the issues with his mind-reading,    he’s her favorite cullen.

        rosalie:    rose is..    hardcore intimidating for bree.    for many reasons that would be too long to list,    and i think if anyone were capable of holding a grudge for what bree did    (    even not knowing    ),    it’s rose.    they have the potential for a good sisterly dynamic but bree would have to kind of overcome her fear of rose,    and rose would have to learn to be gentler to her.    i absolutely despise the fanon that rose would assume a motherly role over bree.    she doesn’t allow  anyone  to do that,    least of all rosalie.

        emmett:    GIANT,    muscular man?    bree is terrified of him from the moment she sees him and it only lessens  slightly  when she moves in to the cullen household.    they get on well enough so far as banter goes but she hates being anywhere within grabbing distance of him.    she could easily outrun emmett,    but if he got his hands on her?    she’s done for.    after a few years,    once she’s comfortable trusting him or anyone else,    i can see them being pretty good friends just because bree has a lot of chaotic potential once she feels safe.

        alice:    basing everything on book alice,    bree doesn’t really like her.    alice pushes too many personal boundaries for bree’s taste and she doesn’t like the idea of someone forcing her to wear something or look a certain way so that she fits in with the rest of them,    or having someone judge how she looks  generally.    alongside the fact that she’s jasper’s mate,    bree is cordial but very distant from alice.

        jasper:    bree does not like jasper at all.    at least initially.    what he did in the clearing was beyond over the top,    aggressive,    and even manipulative    (    using his gift to make her angry so she might attack    ).    he has this very utilitarian feel about him and if his behavior with bella in bdp2 was any indication,    he would not ease up on bree even after she became a ‘family member’,    because he believes she’s a dangerous newborn that he has to whip into shape.    she hates being around him and hates talking to him.

        bella:    besides edward,    bella is the one bree’s closest to.    they’re both awkward as fuck and i’m 100% sure bella is very understanding of what bree did in the army,    and of course doing her bella thing and apologizing for being the reason in the first place.    that’s something that bree appreciates even if she doesn’t find it necessary and sticks to bella...    pre-vampirism.    vampire-mom bella is just too weird and foreign for her to spend lots of one-on-one time with.

the hermit :    it’s a skill,    to look inside yourself,     one you have mastered.    the endless corridors and shifting thoughts are mapped to very carefully.    this all takes time,    of course.    and those twisting hallways are so very difficult to map.    it would be so easy to get lost.    you know this space so well.    wouldn’t it be a lovely place to stay?    so well-known and comforting.    why go back?    how nice,    how easy,    to dissolve,    to hide from the rest of the world and all the people in it.    why bother,    when you are so good at looking inside yourself.    like enlightenment,    the self.    retreating this far inwards is like retreating just as far out,    into the vast ether.    so comforting.    the thing that was you looks at the thing that was the old woman.    there is no you anymore.    goodbye.

      carnage bothers her less so than the possibility of bree being found. of learning the lengths the human race would go to when guided by fear. rightfully so.  she remembers what it was like to be new to the hunt, exhilarating and overwhelming all at once. easy to get carried away. but she won’t let the newborn vampire make the same mistakes she did. ❝ you have to be more discreet. there are enemies far worse than humans, all it takes is one witness. ❞ luckily, for bree, lira’s well acquainted with the process of body disposal. one quick call and the problem is solved.

     ❝ it would be in your best interest to keep your food alive, take what you need then move on to another. it’s less likely to draw as much attention. if you absolutely have to kill make sure it’s someone who won’t be missed. come on. ❞

        it’s a valid concern,    the thought of someone else  catching her  in the act.    the ones who created her had a similar form of thinking...    stay out of the sight of others.    to bree,    it’s laughable to think anything else has a chance against her right now.    but she’s never been one for confidence,    and there’s always going to be an inkling of  doubt  in her,    no matter how sure she is.    “that’s not  nearly  enough blood.”    it’s the same concept as substituting humans with  blood bags.    works in theory,     but tedious in practice.

        the  comment  gives  him  pause,  pondering  over  whether  or  not  its  a  joke——until  he  catches  the  smile,  lets  his  shoulders  relax  again.    (  not  that  it  matters;  the  owner  is  a  friend,  likely  to  see  this  interaction  on  the  security  cameras  later  then  erase  it.  )    vic  lets  a  snicker  huff  up  from  his  chest,  fake  offense  bringing  his  brows  to  pinch  together.     ❛❛  hey  now—–heath  bars  are  good,  kid.  ❜❜     grip  tightens  around  the  rock-solid  candy  in  his  pocket.    ❛❛  not  for  your  teeth,  maybe,  but  c’mon.  ❜❜
