Another reason to believe that Yo Han and Ga On will find each other again in the future. He loves him as much as he loves Elijah, and there is no way that gesture meant goodbye but “UNTIL NEXT TIME”.

After watching episode 16 I burst in tears, because Yo Han and Elijah left, and I thought Ga On would be all alone by himself; with his own demons and with a fight too difficult to win. But after an analysis, I can asure you they will definitely find each other again, and this time won’t be planned by someone else, there will be not Sun Ah or Professor Min to force or interfere with their relationship.

Why am I so sure? Because they have something to remember each other.

As all of you know, Ga On has been carrying the watch Yo Han gave him, and we can see it on situations related to Yo Han and the decisions that Ga On has to take. But I think the writers did that to tells us that even if they are apart they will live in each others time.

But why will Yo Han come back for Ga On? Because although Yo Han doesn’t have a watch to remember him, he has something even more powerful; the scar, something graven in his skin. There is no way Yo Han will see it every day and not think about Ga On (just like in prison) and wanting to visit him.

So stop crying, they will definitely see each other after some time, they just need to find themselves and heal first, to be able to be together without hurting each other.

I have seen a couple of comments about people not liking Ga On, but personally I think this is by far one of the most interesting characters in the show.

The thing here is that most of the characters in the show are what we would commonly describe as “evil”, but some are not. Characters like Yo Han and Sun Ah are antiheroes, and everyone loves them, because they are different and intriguing. We don’t want the “good” boring guy anymore, but that’s the thing, Ga On is not that person.

For me, Ga On is the Clark Kent prototype but with an interesting twist; he’s not just the “good” boy anymore, he is also an antihero, he is the other side of the coin, he has his flaws, and that is what makes it all for me. Ga On complements this story because he shows us (at some points) the fall of the “hero”; that there are not good or bad people, and that it doesn’t matter who you are, everyone can fall, everyone can sin.

I been thinking constantly about the fire scene at the church on episode 4 of tdj since it was released, because for me, this is by far the best sequence we have had in the drama. I love every detail, but mostly, I love what all of this represents.

This is an interesting criticism to high society, about how they are just so focused on themselves that they are willing to smash everyone that gets in the way, like Elijah.

But also, it made me think about hell, because it just looks like if all the souls were trying to get out of that place that they put themselves for the decisions that they made.

If there is something that we love on tdj is the beautiful family that Yo Han, Ga On and Elijah are. Although episode 12 was a really rough one for the family, it was a nice episode to learn how much Yo Han cares for his world.

We have seen Yo Han being worried about Elijah multiple times in a very clear way, but when it comes to Ga On, Yo Han has always been worried in a more private way. Today I want to talk specially about this next scene because I haven’t seen many people talking about this moment in particular.

On episode 12 after the Minister’s suicide, we see Yo Han talking on the phone with Sun Ah. In the conversation she is congratulating him for what he has achieved, and she once again mentions her plans of him becoming the next president, even he says that he wants to be the director of the foundation.

The reason why I’m mentioning this scene is because he wasn’t even interested in the talk, he knew that she wouldn’t make him the director of the foundation, but he was just saying that to make her think that he was on her side. But after hanging up the phone do you remember what he did? He called K to order him to find Ga On and bring him, because Ga On wasn’t himself right now.

Sun Ah was once again talking about giving him the entire country, the power, the absolute control, and he was only thinking about his family; about the only guy that doesn’t sees him as a monster; a part of HIS WORLD.

This is just beautiful and aches my heart knowing that they are apart. Hopefully Yo Han will keep learning how to express his feelings for his beautiful family, like he has been trying to do lately.

On episode 7 of tdj we find out about Seon Ah’s past, and through the series we have seen how lonely she is, specially on episode 9, where she didn’t have anyone to celebrate with her success.

I have been thinking a lot about this scene because this could have been Yo Han. Before Ga On arrived, he didn’t have anyone but her niece to celebrate with, and although we can notice they secretly care for each other, they didn’t have a profound bond to be able to share their emotions.

So watching the dinner scene at episode 9 made me realize that although Yo Han and Seon Ah have the same personality and share a difficult backstory, what makes them different is the people who surround them.

Just look the difference between having and not having someone to talk or celebrate with. I can completely understand why Seon Ah is so obsessed with Yo Han.

So I’m thankful that Yo Han has Ga On and Elijah in his life, because you can see that they make him really happy and he just loves spending his time with his two favorite people right now.

I was watching once again (what a surprise) episode 8 of tdj and I started to think a lot about the scene where Yo Han arrives alone to his house, because the highlight of this sequence isn’t him, but Elijah. She looks so disappointed of seeing him arrive ALONE.

I can’t stop thinking that this was her every day thing; just waiting for Yo Han and Ga On to arrive together after job, and maybe most of the times they don’t even realize she is watching, like in this scene, but she is.

She might feel alone all day, just being in an empty house without many things to do other than being with the nanny and Kkomi, so seeing her favorite people arrive just makes her happy.

A few weeks ago Soompi released an article about an interview that GQ Korea made to Jinyoung. One of the things that they asked him was about his pinky finger, that had a bruise because he got a little bit injured while filming tdj.

Actually, on episode 7 you can notice it at the scene where Ga On is doing research on Yo Han’s kitchen.

I wanted to mention this because even though it was a small injury, the truth is that all actresses and actors give their best while filming, and in tdj that wasn’t an exception. So please continue supporting the crew and the show to recognize the hard work that everyone did, because sometimes we don’t even know all the sacrifices that they do in order for us to get a good show, with tons of quality and good acting.

As all of us know, Yo Han is letting Ga On live at his house; nobody asked, suddenly after the accident everybody just lives together (thing that I love), but after episode 8 it seems that Ga On’s house is also open for everyone. Su Hyeon just invited Elijah like if it was a restaurant or something 😂 and later, Ga On’s mentor just arrives like an everyday thing.

I found very hilarious and sweet that they just trust each other so much that they share houses and food, but mostly, their whole world.

Definitely expecting more scenes like these ones.

Ga On is suffering a lot right know, and of course that’s what Yo Han wanted in order for him to join his side. But I think (if Ga On isn’t planning something else) that Yo Han isn’t prepared for what he has created.
