Het is oké om het even niet te weten. Het is oké om te verdwalen in de kronkels van je brein, zolang je maar niet vergeet naar de uitweg te zoeken.

Everyone’s ultimate life goal is to be happy. But everyone’s definition of happy is different. Some people think having money, or being in love is happy. Other people think being happy is enjoying the little things in life or finally finding a place to live. Don’t you see everyone’s definition of happy is based on their life, therefore it defines them as a person. Are they depressed? Always happy? Have they had a good life? Do they have a heartbreaking life story? What is your definition of happy?

Cuddling with you would be amazing right now.

Love is not about sex, going on fancy dates, or showing off. It’s about being with a person who makes you happy in a way nobody else can.

I like the sea: we understand one another. It is always yearning, sighing for something it cannot have; and so am I.

Cause that’s what life is about. It’s about the times where you lay in the grass next to someone you love. It’s about the color of the sky, it’s about a roaring fire on a winter eve. Everybody hurts, everybody bleeds. Everyone laughs and smiles and loves. And that’s all that it is. There is no meaning of life, it’s nothing that can be defined. It’s a matter of writing your own definition.

In October any wonderful unexpected thing might be possible.

I don’t want to SAY that I love you. I want you to FEEL that I do.

Sometimes you just need to be with the person that makes you smile, even if it means waiting.

Being in love is a very strange thing. Your thoughts constantly drift towards this other person, no matter what you’re doing. You could be reaching for a glass in the cupboard or brushing your teeth or listening to someone tell a story, and your mind will just start drifting towards their face, their hair, the way they smell, wondering what they’ll wear, and what they’ll say the next time they see you. And on top of the constant dream state you’re in, your stomach feels like it’s connected to a bungee cord, and it bounces and bounces around for hours until it finally lodges itself next to your heart.

Falling in love feels amazing, but it’s also terrifying. The moment you admit to loving someone, you admit to having a lot to lose.

I think and think and think, I’ve thought myself out of happiness one million times, but never once into it.

I wanted someone to love who would stay: stay and be there, always.

I think it’s very healthy to spend time alone. You need to know how to be alone and not be defined by another person.
