me: I can’t stop thinking about Peggy Carter. I agree that she deserves happiness after Steve Rogers but I don’t like the campy YA lit love triangle way they’re going about it. Not to mention they obviously favor the white male love interest over the black male love interest, despite the fact that Peggy turned Sousa down last season in a way that felt right at the time and still feels right to me now. Jason is amazing and I think that if Sousa were not in the picture, I would love to watch his relationship with Peggy blossom into something even more substantial than what they already have; but the fact that his interest in her is coupled with Sousa's (which again, I don't like for many reasons) and presented to Peggy like the tagline of a Twilight novel--"who will you choose?!?!"--feels forced, awkward, and completely out of place in her story. Also, I maintain from last season that the person with whom Peggy had the best chemistry and strongest foundation for a meaningful relationship (romantic and otherwise) was Angie Martinelli, who was completely left behind this season despite her popularity with fans and how easily she’d fit into a season set in Hollywood. Peggy’s romantic arc as it currently exists feels out of place to me, and it’s making it harder for me to enjoy this season.
