I get what your saying but during that time didn’t sakura already have the Byakugou? So she could fight in the front lines also?

However sakura going to face off madara was dumb she should know that madara is WAY stronger then her

usually I don’t really care if characters try to fight in battles they know they will lose in but its war and the whole naruto world is at stake

also sakura is the medic so people do need her so she can’t just be sacrificing herself like that it’s stupid and dangerous for EVERYONE that needs her to heal them

(Hinata was also ordered not to intervene before and disobeyed  also she was told she shouldn’t of done that afterwards, because actions have consequences).

First the creation rebirth it doesn’t make you immortal look at tsunade she almost died after her fight with madara if Karin didn’t saved her she would be dead for sure and madara was bored with her so he left to be on the tailed beast with obito

So sakura going after madara is actually suicide if madara really wanted to kill sakura she would be dead I think sakura already know how powerful he is

Pein would of had trouble against someone like Danzo especially after Pein used a lot of chakra wrecking up the village and fighting against many Konoha ninja’s frankly Pein wouldn’t stand a chance anymore after losing 5 of the 6 paths, leaving him without many ways to attack anymore if he would of used a big jutsu like the one he used to destroy the village he would die just like he did with rinne tensei, Pein was already at his limit, and Danzo can revive himself multiple times which  would be enough to kill Pein plus Shisui eye the ultimate genjutsu not even the rinnegan could counter it’s effects.

powers aren’t everything in a ninja fight, there are a lot more factors, by your logic Naruto should of lost to Pein since Naruto was already fighting without sage mode in the end, don’t underestimate strategy or special abilities that can be used to defeat even someone as strong as Pein, Danzo had some very dangerous abilities and by the time he would of joined the fight, Pein was no longer at his peak, so Danzo would of had a clear advantage, Sasuke was already almost as strong as Pein when he fought Danzo considering when Naruto met him (after he killed Danzo) Naruto saw they both are pretty much equal in power and that they both would die if they fought each other. it seems to me you are underestimating how strong Danzo and Sasuke really were.  

yeah Nagato restored an entire village but then he died because he had very little chakra left. Pein may have destroyed some of the root maybe even most but eventually his last path would of been destroyed as they pretty much already figured already how his powers work, and that would of only left his real body which is quite an easy target in his weakened and frail state, which makes Konan his last line of defense, and Danzo could of finished them both off himself, or alternatively Konan and Nagato could of escaped realizing they can’t win anymore.

and Gai would of destroyed Pein in 8 gates, that power was above Madara’s power as a ten tails jinchuriki Pein is not that strong, frankly a 7 gates Gai could of won as well with the right strategy.

and Gai was already in the village soon after so seriously they could of just let Gai handle Pein if it come to that, but he like the rest trusted Naruto can handle things with Pein after Katsuyu explained the circumstances,

yes Tsunade is kage level and she was just as skilled as Jiraya which gave Pein a run for his money, if Jiraya knew Pein’s weakness from the start he would of had a real chance of winning,

so no Pein wouldn’t of whooped her as easy you make it sound like, and Danzo was arguably stronger then your average kage, thanks to his ace the most powerful genjutsu (Shisui’s eye) not to mention that his izanagi technique is perfect to find weakness in any opponent and also as way to take someone out by surprise if they don’t expect the jutsu, frankly Sasuke only won thanks to his own MS that was able to see through Danzo’s illusion anyone else would have trouble in seeing Izanagi or understanding how it works.and like I already said Konan had no chance in beating Danzo unless she knows about Izanagi beforehand.

the rinne tensei jutsu is a strong jutsu but it is possible thanks to the rinnegan that was never Pein originally  but his abilities in using the rinnegan are a pale imitation compared to Madara, and rinne tensei can be performed even by Obito when he had only one rinnegan and almost no chakra left to use so it’s clear you can use the ability even with small amount of chakra but at the cost of the user own life.

Gai was in the village when Naruto was still fighting Pein,it is in the manga chapter 441, it was team Gai that brought Hinata to Sakura and Gai was about to go with Lee and others to give Naruto backup until Katsuyu explained they need to trust Naruto as he has a plan and they listened like Hinata should had, later Neji and Gai seem to want to go to Naruto after he beat the 6th path but when we next see them they are in the village waiting with everyone else after the rinne tensei meaning they never went after Naruto so again they trusted in Naruto and left things for him to handle, frankly if Naruto would of gotten captured Team Gai would of been the first to get to Pein and take him out one way or another.

Tsunade fight against Pein was short lived because she was using all her chakra to heal everyone hurt in his attack if she didn’t have anyone to worry about she would of destroyed him or at least destroy most of his paths, and that is another example of what happens when you fight a powerful enemy while worrying about the lives of others.

so no Pein wouldn’t of whooped her as easy you make it sound like, and Danzo was arguably stronger then your average kage, thanks to his ace the most powerful genjutsu (Shisui’s eye) not to mention that his izanagi technique is perfect to find weakness in any opponent and also as way to take someone out by surprise if they don’t expect the jutsu, frankly Sasuke only won thanks to his own MS that was able to see through Danzo’s illusion anyone else would have trouble in seeing Izanagi or understanding how it works.and like I already said Konan had no chance in beating Danzo unless she knows about Izanagi beforehand.

the rinne tensei jutsu is a strong jutsu but it is possible thanks to the rinnegan that was never Pein originally  but his abilities in using the rinnegan are a pale imitation compared to Madara, and rinne tensei can be performed even by Obito when he had only one rinnegan and almost no chakra left to use so it’s clear you can use the ability even with small amount of chakra but at the cost of the user own life.

Gai was in the village when Naruto was still fighting Pein,it is in the manga chapter 441, it was team Gai that brought Hinata to Sakura and Gai was about to go with Lee and others to give Naruto backup until Katsuyu explained they need to trust Naruto as he has a plan and they listened like Hinata should had, later Neji and Gai seem to want to go to Naruto after he beat the 6th path but when we next see them they are in the village waiting with everyone else after the rinne tensei meaning they never went after Naruto so again they trusted in Naruto and left things for him to handle, frankly if Naruto would of gotten captured Team Gai would of been the first to get to Pein and take him out one way or another.

powers aren’t everything in a ninja fight, there are a lot more factors, by your logic Naruto should of lost to Pein since Naruto was already fighting without sage mode in the end, don’t underestimate strategy or special abilities that can be used to defeat even someone as strong as Pein, Danzo had some very dangerous abilities and by the time he would of joined the fight, Pein was no longer at his peak, so Danzo would of had a clear advantage, Sasuke was already almost as strong as Pein when he fought Danzo considering when Naruto met him (after he killed Danzo) Naruto saw they both are pretty much equal in power and that they both would die if they fought each other. it seems to me you are underestimating how strong Danzo and Sasuke really were.

yeah Nagato restored an entire village but then he died because he had very little chakra left. Pein may have destroyed some of the root maybe even most but eventually his last path would of been destroyed as they pretty much already figured already how his powers work, and that would of only left his real body which is quite an easy target in his weakened and frail state, which makes Konan his last line of defense, and Danzo could of finished them both off himself, or alternatively Konan and Nagato could of escaped realizing they can’t win anymore.

Sasuke was having a lot of trouble against Danzo and the only reason Sasuke won was beacuse Danzo underestimated him (he could of used Shisui’s eye on him and be over with it), and also Sasuke had Karin to heal him in the fight.

Pein would of had trouble against someone like Danzo especially after Pein used a lot of chakra wrecking up the village and fighting against many Konoha ninja’s frankly Pein wouldn’t stand a chance anymore after losing 5 of the 6 paths, leaving him without many ways to attack anymore if he would of used a big jutsu like the one he used to destroy the village he would die just like he did with rinne tensei, Pein was already at his limit, and Danzo can revive himself multiple times which  would be enough to kill Pein plus Shisui eye the ultimate genjutsu not even the rinnegan could counter it’s effects.

Goodness gracious, when will people understand that Sasuke “always being home” isn’t a prerequisite for Sakura’s happiness? She doesn’t love Sasuke because she thought he’d always be “there” for her. Her happiness with him isn’t dependent on his presence in her life 24/7, nor does it rely on him showering her with love and praise. She knows who Sasuke is, knows he isn’t the most overly affectionate person there is, but also knows perfectly well how he shows his care towards those who are precious to him.

So you see no problem with the way Kishimoto showed the SS relationship?, Sakura blushing is because she doesn’t get what the head poke actually means, to her it was a sign of affection but for Sasuke it is to distance her from him and that is how he saw it when he talked to Itachi and that never shown to change.  It never had a romantic meaning it was between brothers and now Sasuke also does it to his daughter or you telling me Itachi was in love with Sasuke? or that Sasuke is in love with Sarada? also it doesn’t excuse Sasuke not using the head poke at the end of gaiden to Sakura (if it really was a sign of love to her like you most likely think it is) he had no problem head poking her in 699 but at the end of gaiden he decides to just walk away from her (anyone that can see and read would see their relationship is flawed and almost none existent) at the very least it shows that whatever he felt for her from 699 is not there anymore.

Sakura has 0 contact with Sasuke whatsoever meaning this isn’t even a long distance relationship they both live their own lives apart, if she only has her memories of him then Sasuke might as well be dead and it’s time for her and Sarada to move on, but no she acts like a delusional person when Sarada questions about Sasuke in gaiden, Sakura completely flips which is what a person in denial does when they are shown the truth of their situation. also her memories of him are crappy anyway when she can’t even remember if he ever wore glasses.

As for the loans, one of the 3 taboos of a shinobi is having money problems, as in gambling or taking loans, so it is a problem in universe and also considering Sakura supposed to be a top medical ninja one of the world’s best, doesn’t make much sense she needs to take loans at all, unless she overcompensating with the not having Sasuke around and wastes all her money on luxuries (expensive clothes expensive house) also it shows Sasuke isn’t providing for them which is the minimum expected from a father that is away from his family.

The last canon Naruto story that was created solely by Kishi himself was Naruto Gaiden, which, by the way, ended with an entire page dedicated only to the Uchiha family, with Sarada looking at her new family portrait while smiling extremely happily. Also, the last lines from this last page referred to the fact that the love between Sasuke, Sakura and Sarada is the real deal. So, considering that Naruto Gaiden is the last canon material that was drawn by Kishi himself, basically the entire canon Naruto manga ended only with SasuSaku and their family. ;) By the way, Sarada’s personality and overall atmosphere were already confirmed to be just like Sakura’s by Naruto himself in chapter 4 anyway. This fact is canon. :)

In addition, of course Sarada and Karin literally had nothing in common besides the fact that both of them had glasses. Also, at first certain people tended to completely “ignore” the fact that Karin’s hair and eyes were actually red, not black like Sarada’s as they actually seemed to be in the manga version. This is the exact reason why certain individuals might have believed that Sarada somewhat resembled Karin. They sadly wanted (and sadly still want, it seems) to completely “ignore” the fact that Karin’s hair and eyes were red in reality, not black.

Of course the fact that Sarada wears glasses doesn’t mean anything. A child whose parents need glasses (one or even both of them) may not need them, while a child whose parents don’t wear glasses may still need them. It, indeed, doesn’t prove absolutely anything.

Also, Kishi confirmed in an interview that he had decided to add glasses to Sarada since they would complement her design and would offer her an intelligent look. In another interview, Kishi also confirmed that Sarada’s stare would have sometimes looked way too much like Sasuke’s, so he had decided to add the glasses in order to hide this fact, too.

And Sarada seems to have began wearing glasses due to external factors, anyway. In the flashbacks from Naruto Gaiden chapter 8, it was confirmed that Sarada started wearing glasses only after she had been seriously ill with a really high fever. So, that particular illness may have been what eventually caused her the need to wear glasses.

On the other hand, Sarada does resemble Sakura extremely much in every single way, including when it comes to her appearance. This is exactly why the fact that Sakura was Sarada’s biological mother was more than obvious since the very beginning.

When it comes to Sarada’s appearance, while she inherited Sasuke’s eye colour and hair colour, most of Sarada’s facial features were inherited from Sakura. The most important example is represented by Sarada’s eye shape. She completely inherited Sakura’s eye shape. :D

These two panels from Naruto chapter 699 and Naruto Gaiden chapter 8 respectively, shown in different positions, literally say it all:

These two panels are extremely telling and important, since both of them allow us to carefully observe the actual shape of both Sakura and Sarada’s eyes. In both of these panels from Naruto chapter 699 and Naruto Gaiden chapter 8, Sarada and Sakura’s facial expressions are completely relaxed, fact that helps us easily distinguish their actual eye shape, which, as it can be seen right away, is identical. :) These sole two panels would have immediately proved who truly was Sarada’s biological mother even if we hadn’t had an actual confirmation regarding this matter in the manga itself (which, as I’ve already said above, we actually officially have in Naruto Gaiden chapter 10 from Sasuke, Sakura and Karin themselves, fact that’s of course even better).

Also, Sarada’s eyelashes, her round jaw and overall face shape (which can also clearly be seen in the very same panel from Naruto Gaiden chapter 8 that I’ve posted above), her big forehead (which can clearly be seen in Naruto chapter 700, where Sarada’s forehead is really wide, just like Sakura’s was in Naruto Part 1) and her wide, beautiful smile were all inherited from her Sakura, as well. Furthermore, Sarada’s hair actually is a perfect combination of her parents’, as even though her hair ends are spikier just like Sasuke’s, Sarada’s hair is initially straight just like Sakura’s. In addition, almost all of Sarada’s expressions were also inherited from Sakura, especially the surprised and funny ones (this is due to the fact that almost all of Sarada’s facial features resemble Sakura’s extremely much and some of them are even identical to Sakura’s, as I’ve already stated above). When it comes to Sarada’s personality and mannerisms, even though she initially seemed to resemble her father more due to the fact that she was reluctant to acknowledge certain people unless they truly deserved it, in reality she resembles her mother much more, as she is really friendly, caring and when she’s angry, things aren’t going to turn out very good in the end.

Furthermore, Sarada also inherited her mother’s verbal tic, “Shannaro”, and always uses it during her attacks or when she’s excited/angry (just like Sakura does). Also, in the Naruto universe, catchphrases are meant to be seen as having been naturally inherited and to show a link between a parent and their child, just like it happened in Naruto and Kushina’s case. Naruto inherited Kushina’s verbal tic, despite the fact that he lost both of his parents the day he was born. Naruto met Kushina only in Part II, after so many years since his birth. After Kushina heard Naruto’s verbal tic, she immediately said “You truly are my son” and also said that she had always hoped he wouldn’t inherit her verbal tic. Therefore, verbal tics are naturally inherited in the Naruto world and are meant to show a similarity between a parent and their child, just like it also happens between Sakura and Sarada.

Thus, just like Naruto himself stated in Naruto Gaiden chapter 4, Sarada’s personality and overall atmosphere are exactly like Sakura’s.

And last but definitely not least, when it comes to Sarada’s abilities, besides the Sharingan that was inherited from her father, Sarada also naturally inherited her mother’s extremely good chakra control. And yes, good chakra control is genetically inherited. What you cannot directly inherit is the great strength itself, but the strength is a consequence of naturally good chakra control and learning how to control it even better. Sakura herself had an amazing chakra control right from the very beginning of the series, fact which was observed by Kakashi-Sensei on two separate occasions in Part I (one of them was at an extremely early point of the story when Team 7 was training and the other one was during Sakura’s fight with Ino from the Chunin exams). This was also due to the fact that Sakura’s extremely good chakra control was naturally inherited. This way, it was also passed down to Sarada, who can control her chakra even better than Sakura could at her age due to the fact that Sarada also has the Sharingan and always activates it while using her naturally good chakra control, thus literally creating the perfect SasuSaku attack. Judging from Sakura’s reaction during and after the moment when Sarada was punching the ground in Naruto Gaiden chapters 9 & 10, she definitely hadn’t trained Sarada at all in this aspect. This fact suggests that the Sharingan was what helped Sarada control her naturally good chakra control in a way that would result in such amazing punches, despite it being the first time she did this. Thus, Sarada’s Sharingan definitely played a very important role in this and, combined with her naturally good chakra control, the Sharingan was what helped her be able to punch extremely hard and aquire the same amazing strength as her mother’s, but without training.

Therefore, Sarada literally is a combination of her parents in everything, including her appearance. This is exactly why the fact that Sakura was Sarada’s real mother should have been obvious right from chapter 700 to literally everyone if they had been using their common sense. Sarada resembles Sakura extremely much in every single possible way, just like I’ve shown above.

By the way, Kishi officially confirmed in an interview that even though he had originally wanted to make Sarada just like a girl version of Sasuke, after that he had thought that she would have been way too scary like this, so he had eventually decided to add elements from Sakura to her, as well (here, Kishi was most likely referring to Sarada’s wide eye shape, face shape and overall gentle facial features). Also, in one of (to be more specific, most likely the first one of) Sarada’s official character descriptions (created by Kishi himself, of course), Sarada was officially described as the child born between Sasuke and Sakura. :)

Kishimoto supervises this manga he sets the story and make sure Ikemoto and Kodachi follow his vision, by your logic then the last naruto the movie is not canon or any of the novels or maybe road to the ninja is canon (since it was written by Kishimoto) go get your facts straight, that is why SS shippers are said to be cherry picking you choose what you like to be canon while something you don’t like is automatically not canon smh. if the manga is not canon prove it. evidence is everything but you have none.

and Gaiden is not the final story Kishimoto made, Boruto Naruto the movie is which is also adapted in the manga you claim is not canon.

as for what Naruto said in chapter 4 of gaiden:

as for your image comparison I will admit that Sakura and Sarada eye shape do look similar in these panels plus the expressions but again need I remind you the trolling Kishimoto has done, including those panels let me just show you other panels and tell me if you still think Sarada and Karin don’t also resemble one another especially in the eye shape and some of their expression.

Have you figured where is Karin and where is Sarada I know it’s hard for you but it’s time you faced reality and see the truth, Kishimoto made Sarada look like Karin at certain points as well as Sakura at other points, and that is the work of the Kishitroll, for that reason alone you can’t trust that Sarada is really Sakura’s biological child, let’s also point out what makes more sense that Sarada acts at certain points like Sakura because she is her biological daughter or that she just copies the mother that raised her, the only role model in life (until she talks to Naruto that is), or that Sarada that has never met Karin but somehow acts and looks like her at certain points is somehow not related to her at all (let’s remind you what you about the Naruto Kushina verbal tic again that passed down without Naruto meeting his mom before) so Sarada has some of Karin’s traits and behavior is unlikely unless they are truly mother and daughter.

Just proved to you those 2 panels don’t prove anything and that confirmation of Sasuke and Sakura does not confirm blood relation except Karin’s which also has reasonable doubt to it’s validity which I will explain shortly, again the faces physical looks is not good enough to prove anything, it never was, because I can find as much proof (maybe more) of resemblance to Karin  as you can find to Sakura. plus canonically she looks like Sasuke especially the eyes (Naruto seal of approval) so further looks comparison are pointless.

now back to the doubt on Karin’s claiming to Suigetsu it”s not true. first let’s think about why does Karin have in her personal most private drawer Sarada’s umbilical cord. (It is a tradition in Japan for the mother to keep this) she claims Sakura is a friend (but what kind of friend never mentions you to her daughter, what kind of friend covers your picture with her own) so to think Sakura gives something as important as that to Karin is ridiculous, not to mention why would Karin even want to keep it and treasure it as she does. and like I said before if Karin is hiding some deep secret about Sarada’s origin she won’t be telling it to Suigetsu.

you say chakra control is inherited prove it otherwise you are just making this up, frankly if it was true then there would a lot more ninjas learning Tsunade’s techniques but as far as we know this type of control is very rare, Sakura was said to be unique at level of chakra control she has by Kakashi and Shizune, if this ability was inherited don’t you think the Haruno ninjas would be much more famous and a well known and respected clan in the village even if they don’t have Tsunade’s training high level of chakra control is important and very helpful for a ninja and they would of actually made a name for themselves.

all the rest you written how she was able to use this level of strength because of the sharingan without training *cough* bullshit *cough* even if the Sharingan could copy Sakura’s technique, Sarada with zero training should not have the ability or enough Chakra to be as strong (or actually stronger then Sakura) at the shippuden timeline, or did you forget how Sasuke couldn’t handle Rock Lee in their short fight before the chunin exam, (because while the eyes can see a technique if the body can’t follow they can’t copy it) so without training Sarada shouldn’t have been able to pull it off even if she has really good chakra control.

Well  I remember this interview but strangely I don’t remember him mentioning Sakura in that interview at all hmm, I do remember another interview that he Said Sakura is addicted to Sasuke and if he showed the reason why Sakura loves Sasuke so much it would be contrived,

nowhere in any interview or databook anything is written about Sakura being her biological mother, Sakura being Sarada’s mother is a fact but being blood related isn’t. the only ones in denial are you SS shippers if you still insist it’s a fact that Sakura is the biological mother, and it’s because we actually read Naruto gaiden from start to finish and examined all it’s fun facts, we know that your “facts” has more holes in it then swiss cheese.

To conclude, While the umbilical cord did probably belong to Sarada Karin having it in her possesion where suigetsu believed she keeps her own important things is weird. The DNA test was inaccurate because it tested Sarada against her own DNA (as umbilical cords hold the DNA of the child not the mother) but Karin having this in her possesion is something that is unlikely if she isn’t her mother or maybe her creator. Sarada display of strength also made little sense for any normal ninja child, but let’s remember that if she was created like Mitsuki then that would explain her abilities. 

I remind you that it was Sarada herself asking about the glasses as she knew it doesn’t make much sense she is the only one in the family that needs glasses, so when she sees Karin picture underneath Sakura’s it immediately makes her suspicious of the possibility she is this woman’s child, but if you insist claiming that the glasses are not important you are basically calling Sarada stupid as much as Chou Chou because according to you who suspects their mother is not their mother just because of a pair of glasses right? Their so called criticism (their childish bias and hate to a fictional story and it’s creators) is nothing new they just repeat their same old beats like a broken record, what they like to call pandering, I call it fanservice that shows that bryke aims to please the majority of the fandom even at the cost of getting the loud hateful minority angry. 

It’s unrealistic to think Bryke could of pleased everyone, and no matter how the comic book is written those fans would continue to whine and complain about everything that they find wrong with it. for example they complained Korrasami is not developed or came out of the blue, the comic book develops them and add to past events the context that was missing as they only used as subtext in the show, but do the haters changed their mind now on Korrasami (even a little bit) after it is given the development they said was not there, nope they hate it the same as before.

Wanting to give the casual fans or new fans what they want is not necessarily a negative thing many writers do it and will continue to do it, the comic book was made for the fans that enjoyed the TV show and wanted more,and for new fans alike, so excuse Bryan that would rather give to those fans what they want instead of the critical hateful and ungrateful minority that no matter what, they would still complain. 

As for representation of LGBT+ goes those that find it poor representation are just as hateful to the series and it’s creators as the rest of the loud minority, they are under the impression that it needs to be perfect or nothing at all, what they don’t realize is that to get to perfect you have to start from somewhere, in order to achieve the greater goal, this may be a small step for LGBT+ but still an important one that is why they shouldn’t undermine the importance of this representation even if it doesn’t live up to their high standards.

The haters also saw three panels from the comics and now are saying it’s all about the gays. because Kya is now gay (which if we are being honest was always suspected) and that Kyoshi loved both man and woman which there is nothing to say it wasn’t true, and there is Sozin banning same sex relationship which again doesn’t contradict the source material, and Sozin being evil isn’t anything new, 

Adding this plot to get interest of the newer fans is not surprising and it doesn’t mean it’s all about the gays, the relationship of Korra and Asami makes this knowledge important to get the reader to understand how their relationship is viewed in the avatar universe so the haters shouldn’t say it’s unrelated to plot. 

The reason it was never mentioned before is 1 because no one asked before (meaning there was no reason to talk about the subject of sexuality and same sex couples, until now that it became relevant for Korra and Asami to deal with it, and now is important to the plot and main character)  2. it’s a retcon (and yes I myself dislike retcons) but as long as the retcon doesn’t contradict the previously established story then there is no reason to be hateful towards it, retcons are used on regular basis in entertainment TV especially long running franchises , the voiceful minority can’t handle them because of their “pure fan” nature as in they hate everything that might ruin their head canons about the world and it’s characters that they based on before the use of the retcon. 

is their writing bad? no that is a subjective opinion and to you i”m sure it looks like bad writing but to me and many other fans of LOK it is good and may be flawed but still not enough to make us say it all sucked, we liked the show from day one we stayed even after the worst season (book 2) and all this way before Korrasami was more then a crack ship, so don’t give me the bad writing crap just because you dislike a ship for whatever reason you tell yourself. 

and people have reasons to be “desperate” for representation, considering they almost never get any at all or when they do get it one of the characters get’s killed for drama.

How did Korrasami happen, it happened because they had the best chemistry, it happened because it made the most sense out of any other romantic possibility in the show, it happened because the writers wanted to do something different and different shouldn’t be called bad writing just because you didn’t like it.

I don’t know what you consider as  the LOK fandom ( if you only check on tumblr then of course all you would see is the gay stuff) The LOK fandom is so much bigger then just tumblr or just Korrasami or just the gay, people do care about other things if you would bothered to care about anything but your own opinions and non objective views then maybe you could of seen that. just because you hate something and think it’s bad doesn’t make it a fact it is only your opinion and you shouldn’t bash LOK or Korrasami or their fans just because you don’t like it.

there is a difference between criticism and hate and you clearly don’t realize that your comment is spiteful and salty and is not an objective criticism of the show.

The bad writing can be subjective I agree. But those who are ignoring the obvious lack of character developement from all characters. The destruction of previous characters to boost up the new ones. The lack of consequence throughout the entire books. The Retconned of Avatar folklore. The playing off of actual abusive themes like the bolin/eska relationship, as well as Varick and Zuli. The horrible romances. The random air benders. The bullshit power ups. Etc. Etc. So please tell me where this good writing is. And miss me with the Korrasami, when Bryke wanted Makkora since the start. Korrasami barely had a friendship. This isn’t subjective, it’s isn’t the writing that people love to ignore.

Korrasami happened because Bryke didn’t want people to criticize their show so they put together the crack ship to seem progressive. It didn’t happen because they had natural chemistry and it’s hilarious that you think so. If that was the case, why was there a bullshit triangle for 3 seasons before they decided to let Korrasami happen at the very end, where there was no build up of any kind, because that whack ass Avatar gang sure wasn’t together. Where is this natural chemistry that we barely seen. Where is it.

I know the LOK fandom, and it’s full of people celebrating the fake gay. Why do you think they decided to randomely make everything about being gay. Because that’s the only thing people care about now. The ending was only praised because Korrasami happen. It wasn’t praised for what happened at the end. It wasn’t praised for its writing. It wasnt being praised for its story. It wsnt bing peaised for its characters. It was being praised because because a gay couple became canon out of nowhere. Why do you think the comic seems to be about being gay now.

It’s one if you hated the Naruto ending, I hated it too. But I’m not you where I don’t know the difference between my personal feelings, and what the manga does. The Naruto manga was bad even before the ending, just like LOK was bad before korrasami. But like the Naruto ending, they keep on with the bad pairings as if those pairings where written to become endgame from the start and now it’s all pandering bullshit.

and no one is ignoring the flaws ,  just because we prefer to focus on the good stuff the stuff we like instead of nitpicking and finding flaws with the story and it’s characters (which you can find in any show), doesn’t mean we like everything or excuse everything, the abusive themes are subjective it was comic relief to most and i”m sure some would be triggered,  but that is a common issue in cartoons and anime, What characters were destroyed to boost new ones? the folklore may have been retconed but the new story is much better then the original IMO and I don’t believe it even contradicts it not really. The power ups in LOK are not so bad as Inuyasha or Naruto, so that criticism you can say about any kids action cartoon show. Bryke only planed 1 Season which Makorra was it’s endgame, but things changed when LOK was renewed for 3 more season and changes had to be made, Korrasami barely had a friendship yeah right man by your logic, Katara and Sokka were not Aang’s friends let alone a new family to him. (considering they already acted as a family by episode 3 of book 1 and Sokka hated Aang when he first met him.)

so let’s see Korra and Asami were love rivals for like 6 episodes in book 1 but then she got to know her and realized she was wrong about her, and even asked Mako to go to her to console her despite how she feels for Mako after what happened with Asami’s  father, and we have Asami that despite knowing about Mako and Korra kissed she never blamed Korra for it she even said she liked Korra despite this all still in book 1, and in book 2 they might have been apart most of the season but when they did get together there was no hostility in fact you can see that Asami supports Korra and vice versa.  In book 3 when they both were done with the Mako business, when long 3 months has passed since book 2 ending, Korra and Asami were already closer then ever to the point Asami encourages Korra and let’s her use her car and train with her, so don’t give me this bullshit that they were not even friends.

Korrasami was no longer a crack ship since book 3 and you calling it that shows your ignorance, Oh yeah Bryke didn’t want to get criticized sure, is that why they are criticized by you and many others, Bryke made it canon for their friends and family in the LGBTQ community not to have a free pass from criticism, do you even hear how ridiculous that claim sounds and it’s completely unfounded  you are slandering the creators just because you don’t like how they write things.

the love triangle only existed in 2 seasons, book 3 Mako and Korra had a strained friendship at best and book 2 ended Makorra for good IMO. yes Korrasami did have chemistry to me again this is subjective you think they didn’t that’s on you but me and many others did see it so nothing gives you the right to ridicule others just for seeing something subjective as chemistry between two characters.believe me when I can say the same shit on your preferred ships where is the chemistry in Masami or Borra I see none which is why I didn’t care for either.

yes many celebrate the gay so what, let them, like I said it’s rare to have such representation  it’s important to many and we shouldn’t be insensitive to that, but that said don’t think for a minute that they speak for all the LOK fandom sure they are many , but there are others that simply like the show despite it’s flaws and while I like Korrasami I wouldn’t care if even my notp would be canon in the end which was Makorra, I would still like the show for it’s characters and it’s world and while the plot is not perfect I still like the show and I haven’t read the comics and judging it from a few panels is not fair to the comics, even if you read it which I believe you didn’t considering you dislike LOK so much. Then your criticism is based on a sample page that doesn’t tell even 1% of the full story in the comic. 

The first book of the comic that it’s focus is to expand on Korra and Asami relationship, was done so because of all the criticism of you and others like you that said they came out of nowhere, but when the comic wants to show it in a more contextual way suddenly it’s pandering SMH.

Sure ignore the blame Nick had in how Korrasami happened, LOK was aired in countries that were not so understanding to same sex relationships and to have one on a children show god forbid, if you and others think Bryke were bullshitting about the restrictions placed by Nick then you are frankly very naive, and should rethink this after educating yourselves.

The only good parts of LOK was the potential for plots. The first book started out good because benders vs non benders was an interesting story to delve into. How can the avatar, who is a bender, go about this philosophy when she has no idea what it means to be a non bender. It was also interesting to see an avatar who isn’t as spiritual or into spirituality like the other avatars, and seeing how she connects with that. But that never happened because the villian with an interesting and valid point just ended being crazy. It ended up getting bad because when can you blood bend people’s powers away. It took Aang Aang a while to find out how to stop the fire lord without killing him, and he did that by energy bending. It got bad because Korra randomely learned how to air bend for no reason. It got bad because when can people blood bend without the full moon now. It got bad because Korra didn’t actually make any points in trying to understand the other side or make peace. It got bad because Korra never connected spiritually, she was handed her bending back without any character growth at all and we never see any of the other characters deal with losong their bending. And this is just the first book which had massive potential, but then died out, was never resolved, or brought up again. And this was the problem throughout all the books. Interesting plots that where badly written and then forgotten about. And this is not about gay characters if you didn’t know.

Besides the plot potentials, there was nothing good about this series. The characters had no character development. Asami was forgotten. Bolin was just comedic relief. And everyone hated Makko at this point. The team was never together. Korra never learned anything. What was there to like about this series. I’m not so desperate for female representation just because I’m a female so Korra being femal doesn’t mean anything to me. I’m not owing to rejoice because Korra is a POC. I’m not that desperate.

And no, the love triangle happened for 3 seasons with no possibility of Korrasami at all. But let me guess, much like Bryke, you’re going to call me a homophobe for not seeing all the developement they had, (note the sarcasm) and watching the show through a hetero lens even though I didn’t want anyone to end up with anyone. That’s bullshit and you know it. And what makes this even funnier, is that everyone was shipping Asami with Iroh in book 1 when he was introduced. Nobody was shipping korrasami until the end of book three because that’s when everyone decided to hate Mako because even though no one wants to asmot, they still wanted Makorra to happen.

The show is already over. But like Naruto, the only thing these people care about is ships. It, which should have never happened in the first place. That’s a criticism. Instead of focising on the pandering out of nowhere bullshit romance, they should have focused on the character development of the characters and the plots. But that never happened because people are celebrating Korrasami as if it suddenly healed all the problems in the show when it didn’t. That’s why it’s only focused on korra and asami and nothing else now.

Listen I’m black, so I get the whole representation thing. I get people hating on a chatacter that you feel represent you, Iris West from the flash is the perfect examole od this. But just because I’m black doesn’t mean I’m going to randomely like every black character I come across just because they’re black. To me, that’s pathetic. You shouldn’t have to lower your standards, just because you want a little bit of representation no matter how bad and how pandering it is. People celebrating this just gives everyone a pass to not care how they’re written because the only thing people care about is if it’s on TV and nothing else. So here’s a question, if everyone started praising killing stalking because it’s two gay characters, would you like it because it’s gay people. Then again, this is a bad comparison because the book actually seems knows what it’s doing with the relationship and the two characters, plus the fact that they’re sexuality didn’t randomely change just because.

and if you actually bothered reading before, you would see I agree with some of your points like no one needed to end up together in the end but to me it doesn’t change the fact I still like the show either way. 

and Bryke said they would not focus on romance, not that they won’t be any romance anymore, like this is the ATLA universe did you really think Korra would end without a romantic interest in the end, that’s not how things were done and you should of known better. your complaints about book 1 are somewhat valid but, it’s not worse then having Azula turn batshit in book 3 of ATLA and that was something I disliked, but I think even if the equalist story  had it’s flaws it still had some great ideas and Amon was a pretty good villain honestly he was better then Ozai IMO, and he didn’t just go crazy he was crazy all along in a way and also he lied about his identity which basically what destroyed the equalists movement, In book 4 Korra understood that Amon wasn’t completely in the wrong, you seem to expect a lot from a 22 minutes 13 episode cartoon per season, the stories won’t always be what you expect them to be. and it’s made for both young and more adult audience, so it can’t fully make a resolution that pleases all types of audiences.

you nitpick  some of the powers they use in the show 70 years after the original, that is quite some time, people knowing about blood bending metal bending is not far fetched at all, using blood bending without the full moon, it all depends on how strong the bender is, there is no rule that said it was impossible. Korra didn’t randomly learned air bending she was training on it for a long time, she knew it’s style principles but she had trouble using it. Korra did learn how  to listen to her enemies in the end, she went to speak with Zaheer, she also saved Kuvira when in the past she would most likely just leave her to die. also you expect Korra to be exactly like Aang well she isn’t so deal with it. sure no character development I just talked about Korra’s development, but I agree that Asami was sidelined  but she did develop in subtle ways throughout the show and I wish they gave her a better plot but like I said there isn’t always time in a 22 minutes episodes to involve all the characters.

you didn’t even read the comics so how would you know it’s only about Korrasami and only the first part is out so stop saying something you clearly don’t know nothing about, there is more in the comics besides Korrasami but even if it did have most of Korrasami that is just because they want to do what they couldn’t in the show and that is to show the romance between them without the restrictions, believe that I’m almost sure that the second part of the comics would have very little Korrasami in it, and would focus on other aspects of LOK including characters and their development. 

I don’t like Korrasami because it’s a gay couple. I like Korrasami because I like their dynamic, I see them as a healthy and supporting each other I like the red and blue combo and that they are both kick ass female characters that I like and a lot more reasons none of them is because they are gay or bisexual.

LOK stopped being aired on TV because they had problems airing it in countries that don’t look kindly to same sex relationships,and not every content on Nick is aired in some countries (so having a canon bisexual or any other program means nothing) but LOK was aired almost in every country that has made Nick in the middle of book 3 to switch to online only also the show did much better online then it did on TV so Nick had more then one reason to make that change, but one of the reasons was Korrasami. 

You’re explanation for the equalist movement, isn’t any better than what the show portrayed. How do you figure Amon is a better villain, when his motives were based on him being crazy. There was no valid reason for Amon to feel the way he did, because he was just crazy as you said. Ozai wasn’t crazy. Ozai was influenced on power and purity, which made him go to the extremes that he did. You can call him crazy as well, but at least his crazy was based off of something that made sense. And then, all the equalist who felt they was fighting for a valid cause, just up and forgot about it, because they’re leader was crazy, so they figured that what they was doing was crazy and not valid at all. That’s not good. That’s bad. That’s horrible. I don’t accept that.

But what I don’t understand is why they’ll take whatever they can get no matter what, despite the fact that it wasn’t written well, and was a legit last minute decision that didn’t have build up, and only happened because the writers cants write and wanted to get a pat on the back for doing something that they never wanted to do in the first place. What lies am I making up about Bryke. The fact that they never planned Korrasami to happen ever, at all. The fact that they lied about Nick being the reason they couldn’t properly develop it. If not all of Nick shows are aired in the same country, then how was it, that they decided to not show this relationship in those countries, and how do you know, which countries are allowed to show it. You’re saying Nick pulled it off the air because of Korrasami, but Korrasami still had no development, so what is the truth. Think about this, 6teen was shown on Nick right, but they cut the episode with the Gay character, this epeisodd aired in other contrived as well, so it only makes sense that they would cut out Korrasami because they did it with 6teen right in. But then again, in the same country, they allowed a character to be bisexual on TV, and allowed a character to have two dads shown. So what is the truth. Either they didn’t want it to happen, or they’re fine with it happening. They also promote kids being who they are no matter what, before LOK. So what’s going on with the story.

maybe because I don’t hold  some unreasonable high expectation from the show as you clearly did, this is not game of thrones or breaking bad it’s a kids cartoon and a very enjoyable one at that, one that can touch on complex plots but still needs to simplify them because of the target audience. Amon was a much more fleshed out character then Ozai, which made him interesting to me and he was a mystery at the beginning, his hate of benders and bending is not simply because he was crazy (so if anyone is oversimplifying it’s you)  he was raised by an abusive father for the one single goal of revenge against the avatar and republic city, he hated his own abilities and grown to be cold and detached as he was taught to hurt animals and humans with his bending, and Amon grew up believing bending is a curse  which led him to create the equalists. The resolution of the equalists plot was okay to me  the euqalists were extremists and to all accounts terrorists they don’t represent the entire non-bending population, also the treatment of non bender has gone bad because of the equalists actions and propaganda and tarlok’s own vengeance scheme before that there is no reason to believe the non benders were treated unfairly in any way.  Amon was a good speaker that convinced many they were oppressed but even if some of his points made sense his extremist view doesn’t and the whole movement was based on a man that was a fraud. and in the end none of the equalists were really interested in equality most of them just wanted revenge against benders like Hiroshi Sato.

They take it because they like KS and LOK and just because you think it’s bad doesn’t mean it is, to me and many others LOK is a great fun show with many things we like about it, saying KS was a last minute decision with no build up is your opinion not a fact, I can’t speak for others but I already knew for sure KS is going to happen since the end of book 3. and you think you know why the writers did what they did but that is just you telling me a prejudiced unfounded opinion about their reasons and that is very negative and ignorant way to talk about something you don’t know anything about. and what’s sad is you complaining about a show that ended 3 years ago which you don’t even like.

Aang isn’t like Aang lol, again you show you don’t understand character development and how people can’t remain children for life they grow up they change they wise up, and Korra did learn from her mistakes she learned how to be more patient and face her fears of losing her bending head on , Korra ending exactly the same as Aang would be unoriginal and would not make it Legend of Korra but the Legend of Aang, every Avatar was different for example Kyoshi outright killed people that were a threat, Korra did grow and change as the story progressed, but it’s not like she can become a completely different person so her becoming exactly like Aang would be bad for that reason alone. But she did learn to not always rely on solving all her problems with force alone. Korra ending up saving Kuvira is quite Aang like, so Korra did become a bit more like him in a way., Korra was spiritual something she was very bad at from the beginning she was able to see visions from the past and eventually talk to Aang and unlock the Avatar state as well as being able to energy bend, and in book 4 she managed to realize everything is connected without being taught this, as she found where prince Wu was taken in book 4 using the same trick as Aang did in book 2 of ATLA, and being able to meditate and go to the spirit world. and Korra actually has a better understanding the Aang ever did about being the Avatar as she was trained from childhood for years, Aang run away from it and had to learn everything in a few months in order to save the world.

The thing with Zaheer happened because Korra wanted to try things differently as she felt like she messes up more then she helps,and relying on someone that “destroyed” her shows a lot of character growth and how much she isn’t afraid to face her demons. Realizing Kuvira is like her is exactly what shows how much Korra has changed. In the past she would probably would of joined Kuvira to unite the earth kingdom herself as the ends seem to justify the means, what Kuvira was doing can be easily paralleled to the way Korra used to deal with threats in an uncompromising way, but that is not who she is anymore and that is why she saved Kuvira because she relates to her and what she has done isn’t completely wrong but she realizes there are better ways that not always the quickest solution is the right one.

you say we use headcanons and fanfiction but you are the one the imagined a love triangle in book 3 goes to show that you use headcanon as much as anyone to fill in the blanks, and most of what I said about KS was in the show maybe your memory plays tricks on you I guess when you blind hate something your confirmation bias does all the work for you. If KS was only built upon head canons and fanfiction it wouldn’t have become so popular way before the ending, usually only ships with a good amount of interaction that can be seen is “shippable” makes a pairing popular, that’s how it worked for Zutara when it wasn’t their endgame but the moments shared made it popular and liked by many, the difference is this time the moments between Korra and Asami were not a coincidence, the writers did pull in this direction since book 3 started.

Legend of Korra had 52 (51 as there was that recap episode that hardly counts) episodes while ATLA had 61 with many of them  were stand alone story episodes that didn’t do much for the main plot but had time to develop characters and fleshing them out was easier in ATLA, compared to that in LOK each book was it’s own story meaning the plot had to progress much faster then ATLA there is hardly time to develop side characters, but there were still some that did like Varrick and Zhu li, and Lin and Jinora, frankly there is quite a few characters that had very good character development, but I agree it might of needed more especially for Asami but she had some great scenes in every book, and I”m hopeful the comics could add more to her character. So what you doing is nitpicking because LOK didn’t have as much time to develop every character like in ATLA the shows were built differently and should not be compared in this regard.

Their so called criticism (their childish bias and hate to a fictional story and it’s creators) is nothing new they just repeat their same old beats like a broken record, what they like to call pandering, I call it fanservice that shows that bryke aims to please the majority of the fandom even at the cost of getting the loud hateful minority angry. 

It’s unrealistic to think Bryke could of pleased everyone, and no matter how the comic book is written those fans would continue to whine and complain about everything that they find wrong with it. for example they complained Korrasami is not developed or came out of the blue, the comic book develops them and add to past events the context that was missing as they only used as subtext in the show, but do the haters changed their mind now on Korrasami (even a little bit) after it is given the development they said was not there, nope they hate it the same as before.

Wanting to give the casual fans or new fans what they want is not necessarily a negative thing many writers do it and will continue to do it, the comic book was made for the fans that enjoyed the TV show and wanted more,and for new fans alike, so excuse Bryan that would rather give to those fans what they want instead of the critical hateful and ungrateful minority that no matter what, they would still complain. 

As for representation of LGBT+ goes those that find it poor representation are just as hateful to the series and it’s creators as the rest of the loud minority, they are under the impression that it needs to be perfect or nothing at all, what they don’t realize is that to get to perfect you have to start from somewhere, in order to achieve the greater goal, this may be a small step for LGBT+ but still an important one that is why they shouldn’t undermine the importance of this representation even if it doesn’t live up to their high standards.

The haters also saw three panels from the comics and now are saying it’s all about the gays. because Kya is now gay (which if we are being honest was always suspected) and that Kyoshi loved both man and woman which there is nothing to say it wasn’t true, and there is Sozin banning same sex relationship which again doesn’t contradict the source material, and Sozin being evil isn’t anything new, 

Adding this plot to get interest of the newer fans is not surprising and it doesn’t mean it’s all about the gays, the relationship of Korra and Asami makes this knowledge important to get the reader to understand how their relationship is viewed in the avatar universe so the haters shouldn’t say it’s unrelated to plot. 

The reason it was never mentioned before is 1 because no one asked before (meaning there was no reason to talk about the subject of sexuality and same sex couples, until now that it became relevant for Korra and Asami to deal with it, and now is important to the plot and main character)  2. it’s a retcon (and yes I myself dislike retcons) but as long as the retcon doesn’t contradict the previously established story then there is no reason to be hateful towards it, retcons are used on regular basis in entertainment TV especially long running franchises , the voiceful minority can’t handle them because of their “pure fan” nature as in they hate everything that might ruin their head canons about the world and it’s characters that they based on before the use of the retcon. 

but as someone that knows both the good and the bad of a fandom, I can say with certainty that yeah people are biased if you are an anti or a pro you are still biased and that is not a negative thing we form our opinions about things because we have different experience and preferences which is what bias is to be completely without bias is to be objective and that is something no one can truly be, that is what makes us individuals and not a hive mind we all look at things differently even if we agree with someone we will not agree on everything.

Makorra broke up because they were a dysfunctional couple and the writers knew that when they tried to write them as couple during book 2 and realized the best way to go forward is without Makorra. so yeah it did serve a purpose to have the show be not tied down and chained to such a relationship going forward.

Korra was proactive until she realized she is as much responsible for the state of the world and Kuvira and the other villains were fanatics but they had their points, she realized she needs to change how she deals with threats and listen even to her enemies. so of course she is now more reactive it’s called character development look it up.

destroyed lore sure if you looking for it you would find holes in any fictional world and story, but that is what nitpicking is which is very negative and goes against suspending disbelief, the things you and others complain about are easily explained but whatever keep thinking it’s all bad writing it can’t possibly be that you  just have a problem with how the story is, different from your expectations and not what you initially thought it was.

where did they contradict the love triangle?.  Book1 Asami did say she likes Korra, so that debunks your statement that she never said it, also Korra did care about Asami she told Mako to go to her when Asami’s father was arrested (sure it wasn’t romantic back then but they were friends long before antis think they were) and 4 pages in a romantic getaway is enough to have them do more then hold hands, or maybe you forgetting how quickly people that already realized they have mutual feelings for each other smooch especially in the ATLA world.but still it doesn’t make them engaged they still have a long road ahead in this comics would continue to challenge them both as a couple and individually.

I do wonder how many people actually talk about older TV shows, doesn’t mean they stopped loving them, doesn’t mean they haven’t bought the dvds/blurays and other merch, doesn’t mean eventually their kids would not see the show, a show like LOK would still be remembered, for many reasons but I guess the biggest are it’s part of ATLA no matter how much you hate that it would always be ATLA spinoff which would make LOK always remembered just by association and all the easter eggs in it for ATLA fans, second Korrasami, no matter how you look at it Korrasami isn’t something that happens everyday especially not on a kids cartoon, say what you want about it but it was important and should not be underestimated. third it’s characters are awesome and the avatar universe is interesting  and beautiful, which is made even better in LOK thanks to some really great animation.and I can go on and on for the reasons people like the just as much you can talk about why it “sucks”.

Adding this plot to get interest of the newer fans is not surprising and it doesn’t mean it’s all about the gays, the relationship of Korra and Asami makes this knowledge important to get the reader to understand how their relationship is viewed in the avatar universe so the haters shouldn’t say it’s unrelated to plot. 

The reason it was never mentioned before is 1 because no one asked before (meaning there was no reason to talk about the subject of sexuality and same sex couples, until now that it became relevant for Korra and Asami to deal with it, and now is important to the plot and main character)  2. it’s a retcon (and yes I myself dislike retcons) but as long as the retcon doesn’t contradict the previously established story then there is no reason to be hateful towards it, retcons are used on regular basis in entertainment TV especially long running franchises , the voiceful minority can’t handle them because of their “pure fan” nature as in they hate everything that might ruin their head canons about the world and it’s characters that they based on before the use of the retcon. 

but as someone that knows both the good and the bad of a fandom, I can say with certainty that yeah people are biased if you are an anti or a pro you are still biased and that is not a negative thing we form our opinions about things because we have different experience and preferences which is what bias is to be completely without bias is to be objective and that is something no one can truly be, that is what makes us individuals and not a hive mind we all look at things differently even if we agree with someone we will not agree on everything.

 fanservice isn’t a good thing that is your opinion and you have a right to have it but you don’t have a right to tell others they can’t like it because it have fanservice, they don’t see it as you do, they might even like it despite it or because of it, and this pandering I believe it is actually a good thing they are doing considering this is a very sensitive subject, fanbase, Bryke wants to make sure they get things made the right way and with most respect to the fans.

 as for your criticism I think some of it are good points but not everyone shares your opinion, like I don’t agree the claim Korra is OOC because If there is anything Bryke knows how to do is make their characters be in character sometimes it might look she isn’t in character to you because that is just the interpretation you have given her character, so that is why she seems OOC to you.

they didn’t develop Korrasami after the fact they continued to develop Korra and Asami just now it takes a romantic direction which was shown in the end of the show (they only begun their relationship at the end it’s not like Korra proposed already so them continuing the development in the comics makes sense). 

some people don’t want to overthink sure, but isn’t that exactly what your doing by questioning the additions or retcons, maybe you need to suspend your disbelief more to enjoy LOK without looking at everything in a bad light.

 Asami wanted to tell Korra how she feels in one of her letters is an apple, Mako telling Korra he loved after she lost her bending is an orange, don’t compare two different situations, also I have no problem with either case myself, Mako just wanted to make Korra feel better, and Asami harbored feelings she didn’t know if Korra felt the same for her, and she didn’t even tell her then so again not the same thing at all. 

LOK won’t fade to obscurity like you claim it is still popular in online streaming sites it has a cult following and new fans, I predict this comics do well and would probably make more sequels well in to the future. 

Let me remind that new information given when it’s relevant is nothing new in writing, and retcon aren’t something that is negative when it is done in a certain way, they always be a part of writing considering writers don’t plan ahead everything, they don’t always know where the story would take them.example in ATLA we didn’t even know anything about Zoku’s mom until much later, when it became relevant (even when we knew he had a father an uncle and a sister all in book 1). 

 In Naruto the number of retcons are endless considering it’s a long running shows it’s somewhat understandable, they had changed the whole story of Gaara’s Shukaku to be a tailed beast like the 9 tails fox which suddenly is a misunderstood pet and not a pure chakra beast full of malice and hate, those retcons are actually much worse then anything in LOK but most fans accepted them, without ranting how everything sucks suddenly.

a lot of fans did see foreshadowing about Korrasami, if you didn’t then there is nothing I can do to change your mind but know that everyone sees things differently and Korrasami is flawed but considering other relationships in the show and ATLA it really isn’t that bad and I like it despite not having a full on development.

IF you don’t like a show maybe you should just not watch it, it will save you so much time, but instead you watch something you don’t really like and then go ranting about it, you could be doing better things with your time I mean it’s been 3 years and you still bothered by it. and you contradict yourself you say the show will be forgotten but 3 years later you seem to remember it quite well and still here top rant, I’m sure I will see you around ranting in 10 years, so you and the other antis complaining so much is actually counter productive if you want something to be forgotten stop talking about it.

as for your criticism on the comics, I have not read the comics yet so I can’t tell much but it seems very nitpicky, Kyoshi being Bi/Pan so what it’s not something that matters that much, in any universe, Kyoshi live a long time ago, Korra or Asami knowing everything about her don’t make sense unless they listened really well in history lessons, nor I”m not sure a sexuality of someone is historically important to teach unless it’s wondered by who ever wants to know about it, Kya tells them this because she as a gay person learned about this kind of things as she wanted to understand it and find others like her, is that so hard to believe or you feel you need to nitpick some more do you know how many historical figures were gay? do you know every little detail about every historical figure? this retcon is so small it really shouldn’t matter to people that much. and then there Sozin, that is no different when in the real world many like dictators like Sozin  and monarchs have singled out minorities in order to have hate of the people turn to those groups, to help the ruler stay unopposed in power making this plot be reasonable and logical to the way real dictators have made things for LGBTQ minorities.
