i genuinely think megumi's character was about emotional growth over physical. everybody kept telling him he'd be this super powerful sorcerer that could rival gojo, but he never even wanted to be a sorcerer at all. he only did it to ensure a good life for his sister, which...yeah. by the end, yeah, he's still a sorcerer, but he's not this super strong special grade with the responsibility of the world in his hands. he has room to be selfish and to live for himself. he asked yuji to save him, and yuji did.

In his youth, we see Gojo dressed in traditional robes, his hair down, his eyes uncovered. In his adulthood, we see him walk to his death in the same way; traditional robes,hair down, eyes uncovered. He was young. He will always be young.

The weight of expectation crushes Itadori. He wants to save everyone, but the reality of his situation makes that impossible. Each failure, each life lost, chips away at his spirit, leaving him questioning if his efforts are enough. It's a lonely path for someone who just wants to do the right thing.

It's frustrating how people treat Gojo, considering his position. Yes, he jokes and is often silly, but that's just his personality. People constantly criticize him as if he isn't maintaining the balance of the universe and is the most powerful human ever to exist.

It's baffling how Gojo is often mischaracterized as arrogant and selfish, when he's completely selfless. He always puts his students first and is prepared to be a weapon for them, even after death. He protects them because he never experienced that protection himself. He wants them to enjoy their childhood and live outside the life of a jujutsu sorcerer. This is clear when he says, "I'm not talking about Sukuna's vessel; I'm talking about a kid named Itadori Yuji."

If you asked me, “What should a sorcerer aspire to?” I wouldn't say Gojo; that's an impossible standard. I'd say Nanami. He defined what a sorcerer should be. He always put others first, protected his students, and never wanted a repeat of what happened to Haibara. That's the true meaning of a sorcerer: using your strength to protect those who can't protect themselves. Thank you, Nanami Kento, for everything. It's a shame you didn't get to Malaysia.
