Rachel and Monica are not allowed to go to malls together. Monica wants to buy the entire houseware department. Rachel wants to buy the entire clothes department.

Joey being Bi makes me so happy, even if it is OOC for the show at the time.

Just think of this dork happily hitting on everyone in sight. He is completely unaware why Chandler or Ross are freaking out when they accidentally end up in a gay bar. Phoebe clocked it the second she met him. Monica and Rachel get fussy when he gets more drinks than them when they go out. He loves so easily and fully that he cannot differentiate between liking people as friends or romantically, so he shrugs and goes with the flow.

There is a group food fund in the cookie jar. Everyone pitches in for things like groceries and shared takeout. It took the pressure off of one of them fronting the costs.

It also serves as a makeshift swear jar. It backfired on Monica because she curses the most, especially in the kitchen. Joey curses in Italian (which he thought he could get away with and couldn't). Phoebe's too creative to use boring curses and will make things up like calling someone a 'chewed piece of subway gum'.

Joey has a duffle bag always packed for work or family emergencies. He always wanted to be prepared in case he had an acting job and had to leave at a moment's notice. When Chandler found out, he got really snappy and hurt thinking Joey was just waiting to leave.

Ross took Joey birdwatching once, because Ross “wanted to try something new”.

Joey actually kind of liked it. He’d just point out “the red one” and that “little blueish gray one” while Ross kept missing them to try and check them off in his guidebook.

Ross learned he’s not meant for the outdoors by hundreds of bug bites and sunburn.

I got caught up with symbolism when thinking what everyone’s favorite flowers would be.

He also had a crush on Cinderella. And Sleeping Beauty. He may have had a thing for princesses.

Not going to lie, he thought Rachel was a princess when she first came into the coffee shop. He also thought he had been dreaming until Ross stepped on his foot stumbling to say hi to Rachel faster.

He’s a sucker for the old classic love stories.

Joey loves babies. He couldn’t put down Emmy for weeks, looking offended when Rach took her to put her down for a nap or to feed her. And he loved playing with Ben as much as he could. He loves making silly noises, talking to them, and making them laugh.

Meanwhile Chandler is a little scared of babies. They are so fragile, squishy, and poop like all the time. They just sit there and make noises at you. Babies don’t understand humor. They laugh at Joey’s animal noises for Pete’s sake!

Joey has a small tattoo on his hip (it was the only place he was sure could be hidden if need be). He'd always wanted to, but was too scared what his parents would think, and then, it making it harder to get a role.

Joey, unlike most of his friends, likes things like poetry and art. Poetry is basically just songs without the music. He likes the rhythm and fancy words when memorizing it, even if he’s not 100% sure what it means. He likes art, even the abstract stuff, because people made it and he appreciates hard work.

Chandler will tease Joey about spending an hour watching Bob Ross, even though he doesn’t have any paints, but will record it for him without asking.

Ross will get frustrated by an abstract piece while Joey tilts his head and smiles because it looks like an angry frog. Others will nod knowingly and Ross will look like life has betrayed him. “Stop usin’ your brain” Joey reminds him, as they walk around.

It’s more emotion than knowing big words, anyways.

Phoebe complains that all poets are moody and dower so she gives him a thrifted book of happy poems. She’ll say all famous artists are pompous but then give him a painting of Waterlilies because she knows he likes the pretty colors.

Joey will sit by Rachel when she draws her fashion sketches, in awe, because they’re pretty. He likes her talking about why certain styles are out of season and showing fabric samples. He didn’t know so many colors and textures existed.

Monica will take Joey to art exhibits that she’s catering, reading the little description plates when she has time. She sometimes gets him a cassette tour from the front desk when they have them, and he’ll drag her around spouting facts he already half-forgot.

Joey and Monica have the same habits when they’re stressed or upset: cook, and clean. One time they got into an argument and Chandler was stuck in the hallway because he couldn’t decide if he wanted to face Monica’s short temper or Joey’s quiet chopping. Him and Rachel just decided to go with Phoebe to the park.

Oddly it’s not Monica who’s the most strict about sweets; it’s Joey. To him, sweets are earned through dinner and rough days. Nobody gets dessert before dinner because that was just the rule in his house growing up. There just wasn’t money for specialties like that, but there was a fruit tree in the yard. He’ll choose fruit over candy most times. Sure, he overeats, but if it’s not sweets, it doesn’t count, right?

Monica can’t say no to sugar, so is easily persuaded. Chandler and Rachel are actually the ones with a sweet tooth, and constantly have to hide their sweets stash lest be guilt tripped by one tutting Italian.

Phoebe and Chandler have a game called ‘mood bets’ where they both try and guess the most accurate of how someone’s going to react on any given day. None of the group knows. There’s never been a clear winner because they lost track of points ages ago.

“Joey is going to walk in upset, because he didn’t get that part this morning.”

“No, it’s overcast. First thing he’s gonna say is we should all watch Singing in the Rain or go watch the ducks”

“Bet”

“And Ross is going complain about the weather first”
