didnt know amphibian author knew what artfight was, but here goes!
first off- helper glacier is team tragedy, no doubt about it. i like to keep veir character really well rounded (meanwhile all my other characters sit in cubes) so i dont feel like vey'd embody a set emotion- but vey're definitely a tragedy guy- specifically hamlet. veir entire story is written as a tragedy.
the daughter would be on team comedy. wl!glacier initially would want to be on mystery, but the daughter would drag feam onto team comedy. as for embodies, i'd say it's flipped- the daughter is the tragedy, while glacier is comedy.
AS FOR GHOSTS SMP :3 (you did ask for the blorbos, after all...)
first the mods/admin team!
Semblance- this isn't even a question. the broken mask? the red motifs? the looming ominous nature? semblance is team mystery in every way imaginable.
Caddie + Dexter- i'm going to go ahead and say that both the mods would start off as team mystery with semblance, but eventually after ep 8 of season 1, caddie would go on comedy and dexter would go on tragedy. the mods and admin are the perfect trifecta.
Crypt- comedy. no one can convince me otherwise. i could go on a whole separate ramble, but the sheer idea of their story (and the beginning of season 3 as a whole) is just. hilarious to me. and they're not even an inherently tragic character! or mysterious! you could ask them if they killed that guy five second ago they're like "haha yeah im a vampire lmao" and as youre sitting there staring at them in pure and utter confusion theyre just bite you too and be like "welcome to my cult"
and onto the main players...
Thrush- i just can't decide with this one. i'd say comedy simply because zeir story is intertwined with crypt's, and that immediately makes everything pre-s5 that happens to zem hilarious. imagine you escape to an alternate world just to stay off a vampire bite, and then a few months after you settled, the same godamn vampire that bit you spawns onto the server, BITES YOU AGAIN, and goes "hahahah! i got you good! :D anyway help me take over this joint ill give you robucks or something" zey'd definitely think zey're a tragedy, though.
Monet- I created them literally to be funny to me. comedy instantly, no contest. (they prefer tragedies, though!)
Amythest- ehh, she's kinda a background character, but pretty easily mystery. she's a 70 year old lesbian witch that lives in the swamp, what more do you want???
Arctic + Fledge- i'm having a really hard time with autumnduo. their story isnt inherently funny, nor is it tragically sad. i'd say mystery, not that they're mysterious- but their future is mysterious, and so is fledge's s5 decision. the tension comes from the mystery of if they betr- oh hey look a bird :D
Lili-Anne- lili-anne is that one player that saved up all her team switches for the past ten years and then switches from comedy to tragedy like- twenty times. i feel like everything that happened with andrew and kiaan, she deserves to have her main story labeled as a tragedy, especially season 3/4 lol. also- while what landed andrew on gsmp was not his fault on a mental and psychological scale, what landed her on it was LITERALLY not her fault! she's stuck for something she didn't do, and thus, a tragedy.
Andrew- oh, this guy is a wheeling wailing BALL OF ANGST. he has a lot more tragic undertones. all he ever did was put himself first in order to Not Die. imagine emotionally punishing yourself because of your survivor's guilt for years and years and then when its time to see if youre a good person god's like "you're not a good person because you escaped when you could've done xyz to save another." WHAT DO YOU EVEN DO THEN HOW ARE YOU SUPPOSED TO EVEN BEGIN TO PROCESS THAT
Rex- rex is mystery or comedy, probably mystery. ough, he wants to be on tragedy soooo bad though, unfortunately he has almost zero actual angst. he's just really angry all the time.
Earth- HOW DID I WAIT SO LONG TO DO EARTH SHES LITERALLY THE MAIN FUCKING CHARACTER DSHFUDHUDWEU oh right yeah because i have no idea. uhhh, i'd have to go with mystery. her entire thing is mysteries. they're literally the sherlock holmes of the server. every time she interacts with anyone or stands within a ten mile radius of the autumn valley, the inspector gadget theme song plays, and it doesn't stop for five hours.
Lynx + Sphynx- Both of them are comedic characters meant to bounce off monet, but i'd say sphynx is comedy and lynx is tragedy, purely because of how they take things. sphynx takes everything way too seriously, thus creating lots of comedic moments, while lynx is a lot more bubbly and therefore pushes down a lot more of her feelings. i mean, cmon, she literally shoved everything down regarding sphynx for five seasons. its genuinely impressive. (also a good reminder to tell your friends when something's bothering you and venting is always okay so long as you get permission <3)
Cheese- hate his stank ass. team comedy. (/vsilly) but for real though- cheese is also only there for comic relief. sometimes i question is he ever actually does anything aside from get bullied in episode three.
???- they're comedy. easy. NOTHING ABOUT him is tragic. NOTHING. she had a plan to take over everything, it went SPICK AND FUCKING SPAN PERFECT, they partied with the roombas in the afterlife for fifteen years, and then his plan went perfect AGAIN, he got revived, got his power increased by a shit ton, and then everything went perfect a THIRD TIME. THIS GUY WAS NOT TRAGIC. WHAT THIS GUY WAS WAS HAVING THE TIME OF HIS FUCKING LIFE HAVING INFINITE PINA COLADAS CACKLING TO HERSELF IN THE AFTERLIFE AND WATCHING EVERYTHING EXACTLY ACCORDING TO PLAN.
