The Very Hungry Caterpillar - 3D Paraphrase

The task was to create a paraphrase of a famous work. I chose Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar and reimagined the caterpillar in my own style. While keeping the original feel, I gave the character a fresh, personal visual identity.

The task was to create a paraphrase of a famous work. I chose Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar and reimagined the caterpillar in my own style. While keeping the original feel, I gave the character a fresh, personal visual identity. 

Hazelnut’s giving Pistachio the classic "older sibling" look—mildly annoyed but still kinda fond. Meanwhile, Pistachio is fully in “notice me!! (but don’t actually touch me)” mode. Their tails are locked like a truce agreement. Sisterhood in cat form.

Snakes and puppies may seem like complete opposites, but sometimes a snake's face has the soft, curious look of a puppy. 🐍🐶

I couldn't resist illustrating this idea - who says a snake can't have puppy energy?
