Ok so uh, these might not be in chronological order but everything that just happened hit me like a wave and I’m crying and everything so here we go
“Proof that Tony Stark Has A Heart” I knew they were gonna pull some shit like that!!! As soon as I saw Morgan, I knew it was over for him.
And when Happy mentioned the cheeseburger thing from the first Iron Man when he got back home after being out in the desert to Morgan? I almost cried.
I think my heart stopped when Peter started with his “Mr. Stark? Sir?” lines when Tony was dying. Oh, and he finally hugged Peter and oh my god I think the whole theater was in tears.
And I know I said I wanted Harley back, but not because he’s at Tony’s funeral GOD DAMN IT MARVEL
Also I’m just really proud of Scott?? He was a real big part in it? And CASSIE IM CRYING SHES A BIG GIRL
The part where all the ladies ganged up! I was SHAKING! The raw power of WOMAN coming off the screen! Consider this wig snatched.
CAROL’S GARGANTUAN DICK ENERGY!!! It should be considered it’s own infinity stone. Every one of her scenes gave me feelings!
I can not believe Steve left Bucky omfg (my biggest condolences to the Stucky shippers out there) but like?? There was a whole movie about how much Steve cared for him and then he checked out last second to live with Peggy, and I get that he loved her and everything but still. I’m a little confused. But at least he got his dance.
My biggest condolences to all the shippers out there, actually. That was real rough. My Pepperony heart is broken.
Sam is Cap now (longest yeah boi ever) he deserves it! I’m glad it wasn’t Bucky because he’s old too and he needs a break.
They finally acknowledged Steve’s ass!! Finally! And he’s worthy FUCK YEAH!! I mean, I knew it already but DAMMNNN it was cool.
THOR. Wtfffff??? I mean, I knew he’d probably lose it but not THAT MUCH. Chris spent ALLL these years beefing up for nothing. (I’m a little bitter but not really because I still love Thor a lot.) And I feel like his grief with the rest of his family and his people wasn’t brought up, like, at all.
I want to live in New Asgard.
Speaking of which, the whole thing with Frigga made me cry. I honestly have such a soft spot for her because she was that angelic mom type and it hurt so bad to see her again since she died six years ago.
RIP Snake Bae, he really be dead huh? (I’m using humor to cope with the fact that the only other content we’re gonna have is the TV show. Tom really nailed the sass and angst of 2012 Loki though and it was so good that it made me laugh and want to cry. I miss him.)
Nat and Clint holy fuck!! The bonding I’ve wanted since 2012! That forehead touch!! The hand holding! I stan soft bffs. Honestly though, her dying is when it got real for me. It hit me a little later that she really couldn’t come back—
—and neither could Gamora. And poor Peter, three whole movies for them to get together and now he has to start all over again with all these memories that he has of her.
When everyone came out for the fight at the end, I about peed my pants. I was so overwhelmed to see (almost) everyone show up ready to fight and the Wakandans were chanting and I felt like was a kid that just walked into Chuck E. Cheese’s for the first time or something
I think I finally started sobbing for real when I saw the part of the the credits with their signatures and everything. God, it’s been 11 years. I’m so attached to all of them and I feel like I can’t let go of what happened and move on, but it’s what Steve would have wanted me to do.
