Well…
I had just posed the last page of Just a Sidekick's Chapter 4, 'Group Project'.
This is also going to be the last page of all of 'Just a Sidekick' for the foreseeable future. The comic's going on an indefinite hiatus.
I… really honestly did not want to stop the comic like that, I've had so much plans for where the story's gonna go in the future and what's going to happen to all of these characters, but… Well, a bunch of stuff happened. Mostly it just became far too complicated to balance out my real-life obligations with the continuing weekly work on the comic and also my current plot plans being so long and complicated that with my one-page-a-week update scheme it might've taken me My Entire Natural Lifespan to complete it…..
So yeah, now I'm putting the comic aside to focus on my actual job and using my free time for much smaller-scale creative projects. I'll be keeping this Blog up in case I ever manage to bring this story and characters back in some form… I really do hope that I can do so someday, and I hope you'll be there to see it too.
Thank you so much for anyone who has ever read my comic, to anyone who ever cared about all of my little weird superpowered losers. If you feel sad about the comic's premature end, about not being able to see where all these characters end up, please know that it makes me just as sad…. probably more…
