When Beatrice is not on the Quidditch Pitch, she's hanging out with friends.

Here's a bit of lore about them I want to share with you! :)

Emily Ainsworth: Beatrice became friends with Emily during their first year at Hogwarts, being Sorted into the same House, and sharing a dorm.

Emily noticed Bea’s Harpies flag and asked about it, which led to them bonding over Quidditch (even if they support different teams). They grew closer during their first Flying class, which was cut short due to malfunctioning brooms, and in other classes, too.

Emily brought warmth and adventure into Beatrice’s life. She’s confident, determined, and has a strong competitive streak. Like Bea, Emily became a Chaser in her third year.

But Bea has also noticed something else in Emily. An energy that feels more complicated. It shows up for just a moment whenever Emily sees her older sister, Grace, in the corridor, or even when Grace is mentioned. Emily smooths it over quickly, like nothing happened.

Bea doesn't say anything, but she files it away. Part of her wants to ask, to understand, but she doesn't. Not yet.

Willa Weholt: Beatrice first met Willa when she was practicing out on the pitch. A former Hufflepuff player from over a century ago, Willa had never let go of Quidditch. Her determination to catch a Golden Snitch still burns strong, albeit a little obsessively.

Hearing the story of Willa's death, Bea found this quietly heartbreaking. A girl who died doing the thing she loved most and came back because even death couldn't make her stop. Though Willa doesn't dwell on it.

Bea often goes to Willa for Quidditch advice. Willa's honesty is something Bea values when she asks for her feedback. She doesn't argue. She listens, adjusts, and tries again.

Bea also listens to stories from Willa's days as a Seeker. She never treats Willa's hundred years of life as a curiosity, but as something worth knowing.

Robyn Thistlethwaite: Beatrice and Robyn first met in their first year through a shared enthusiasm for the Holyhead Harpies. When the team visited Hogwarts, both of them went to meet Chaser Zola Farrell, where Robyn noticed Bea and asked if she was a Harpies fan, too.

The connection formed easily after that. Robyn, a Beater for the Gryffindor Quidditch team, is bold, energetic, and quick to laugh. Being in different Houses and having separate friend groups, they mostly seek each other out in Quidditch contexts rather than in everyday life.

Robyn is one of the most straightforwardly supportive people in Bea's life. No quiet reservations or complicated layers. Just, "Of course, you're going to make it! Have you seen you fly?"
