whats the worst thing thats been assumed about them?( that they knew/found out about)
Leo: âDefinitely that Iâd hurt any of my kids. Iâve heard from a lot of parents so far this year that they werenât sure at first about having a man teaching their kids because ofâŚwell you know.â
Petey: âthat I was ever cisâ
Rhodie: âI donât know if it exactly counts but people would think that my mom was raising me alone because my dad left us or we had to run away from him.â They left out a small huff, âthen my grandma came to live with us and I never heard it again.â
Lepus: âThat I havenât worked for everything Iâve got.â
Justin: âWhen I was at a party once a girl came up to me and said I looked like someone who goes to Yankee Candle for the fuck rush...I still have no idea what it means but Iâm scared that itâs a real thing that happens more often than Iâd like.â
Dustin: âthat Iâm an incel.â
Trentin: âmaybe not the worst but the most annoying is when people think Iâm a little boy.â
Louisa: âwhen Justin was mid teen he was very skinny. Beanpole. Other mom joked about how she thought I eat his food and that why he so thin. Rumor start, get to point where school counselor calls me. Was nightmare but everything work out ok.â
Eddy: âthat I price gouge at my shop. Hell no I donât, I just make sure thâ guys get fairly paid for their labor on toppa thâ cost for parts.â
Chomper: âI havenât heard a lot of negative things about me so uh. Hmm.â He thinks a second, âI guess the worst one was that I wasnât manly enough to be a good father figure? I think Iâm pretty manly, just maybe not in a traditional more macho way.â

who is your favorite oc? one that you have a lot of fun making and love their design ect?
((thatâs really hard to say because I love all of them for different reasons and I have a tough time picking favorites. As far as design goes I really like Lepus, I feel like theyâre pretty unique (though I dont do as much with them these days) and my fursona since I like their sleek goofy spooky look. I put a little bit of myself in each one, but some have a lot more of myself so it seems a bit narcissistic to choose one of those. Leoâs fun because Iâve never really had an outright dumb as rocks character before him so having him try to navigate around that is the best. I also really like the dynamic of Leo, Petey, and Rhodie, because they all seem to balance each other out pretty well without making it uninteresting. Herbert is good too since I like having a character that doesnât necessarily get a happy ending, but is working with what heâs got and still remains optimistic. Though Iâll always have a soft spot for my first ocs, a frog that I donât remember the name of that I drew in 2nd grade (about 8 years old), Fred the rabbit that I would draw on the back of my times table tests in 4th grade (10 y/o), and the longest running ocs Iâve had which were Foxtrot and his friends (11-17 y/o). Again itâs really hard to choose))
((Wow that got long so uh tldr I donât have one))
is eddy close to his parents at all or is he glad theyre dead/dying?
âYknow I honestly thought Iâd be glad when they were gone but now that Iâm actually dealing with it IâŚâ he trailed off, â-I honestly dunno how to feel.â
Sure his dad was an ass but it felt weird not getting to say goodbye to him. He didnât get to see either of his kids be successful or get married or even see his only grandkid. Eddyâd never felt bad about it before now, but grief has a weird way of making you look back and actually think. And what he was thinking now was that at least his mom should get to experience some of those things. Couldnât really do much about the wedding thing though, but he could do everything else, if sheâd have him.
Chomper groaned as he got out of bed, even though he was responding ok to his chemo he was still in a lot of pain most of the time. He shambled over to the bathroom, his retching waking up Eddy. Just another unfortunate side effect that had recently cropped up. Eddy shivered when his warm body hit the cold air of the room, but he got up quickly to check in on his husband.
âYou ok?â an all too common question Chomper got these days.
âYeah, yeah Iâm just taking a breather.â he lied, âGimme a sec.â
âAwright.â Eddy stood awkwardly on the other side of the door, he hated that he couldnât do anything to help, âWell Iâm, uh, Iâm gonna get the mail and start the heater.â
Chomper nodded even though Eddy couldnât see him, âOk, Iâll be out in a sec.â
Eddy let out a breath, trying to be quiet so Chomper couldnât hear him sigh, then took his time getting dressed. He liked to still be in the room when Chomper got out into the shower, which he knew would be next since Chomper had a strict routine, just in case something happened. Not that anything would, he reassured himself, since Chomper was still a strong youngish man. Despite how much it felt like heâs aged in the past few weeks. The sound of the showerhead coming on and the soft thump of Chomperâs paws stepping onto the tub floor let Eddy know he got in ok. Which of course he would, Eddy was being silly for worrying that he wouldnât.
Much quicker now, Eddy walked into the living room to turn on the heater. Because of Chomperâs nausea he didnât start cooking until after Chomper had taken his medicine, so instead he switched to making sure the room was as comfortable as possible. It was something he could do. The heater grumbled as it got to work, and Eddy moved on to his next task. On cold mornings like this he was thankful that they had a mail slot in the door, and not a mail box like the other houses he used to live in. He shuffled through the various letters and circulars, almost all were ads, so he separated the mail between real letters and more ads about the grocery store. Honestly, not much was left. Two notices from Chomperâs doctor (which from the size of the envelope they were no doubt reminders about appointments he would have in the next month), a christmassy square envelope without a stamp from Louisa that was probably the McColloughâs yearly Christmas card, and a grimy envelope with no return address for...himself?
More curious than worried, Eddy walked back to the bedroom to open the letter so he could hear Chomper better while he was reading. He sat down on the foot of the bed, over the unmade covers, and set down Chomperâs things to put his full attention on this mystery mail. He looked at the post mark, which showed it was from New York City but that was all. Not taking a moment to think about who couldâve sent it, after all there was a lot of shit in NYC, he ripped off the top of the envelope. Not like he needed to save it for the address or something. It was a handwritten letter with very small writing, so heâd need his glasses to read it, but the fact it wasnât printed out caught his attention. It probably wasnât an auto generated place then, unless scammers somehow didnât want their computers looked or whatever. He didnât know much about technology.
Putting his glasses on, he read the letter. The first line putting him more than on edge.
âEdmund,
You know itâs been a while and Iâm no good at writing so Iâm gonna get straight to the point. Dadâs gone and Mom seems to be going with him. If you want to say goodbye you should probably come soon, the doctors donât think sheâs long for this world. I wouldâve called but I donât know your number.
   Stay warm,
   Jaime
PS sorry for being an ass and not writing the address, since I knew youâd throw it out if you saw it was from us. Weâre still in the same building.â
On the bottom there was shakily and poorly drawn flowers and animals. The weird familiarity of the drawings struck Eddy, remembering watching his brother doing that to mail on the subway rides to get more stamps from the post office and eventually getting in trouble when their mom found out that heâd drawn something obscene on a letter to their uncle (who had thought it was funny). Though mostly Eddy was angry.
âWoah whatâs got you so worked up?â Chomper said, a towel around his midsection and a very guilty look on his face.
The anger had distracted Eddy so much that he hadnât heard Chomper get out of the shower. He opened his mouth a few times to try to explain but nothing came to him. He gave up and just handed the letter to him.
âThis.â
Chomper, unlike Eddy, didnât need his glasses for close up and feverishly began reading to see what had upset his man so. Thankfully, Eddy thought, Chomper was a fast reader. The siren lowered the lined piece of paper down from his face, looking at Eddy, who was slightly crying.
Eddy looked up at Chomper, who was making a face that was very difficult to read.
