Hey, I’m Adam (44). Photographer by trade, writer by habit, and a man who has made a series of deeply committed, long term relationships with coffee. If caffeine were a currency, I would be a small but influential nation state by now. I live in Atlanta, which I love dearly right up until the temperature crosses ninety degrees. That is the moment I begin questioning every decision that led me to a place where the air feels like it is actively pressing charges against me.
Most days you will find me chasing light with a camera, overthinking a sentence, or mainlining espresso like it is a survival skill. When I am not doing that, I am with my wife, our dog, and two cats who tolerate me in the very specific way only cats can. Politely. With judgment. I am an ENFP, which is a neat little label that basically means I thrive on curiosity, chaos, and deep conversations, while also forgetting why I walked into the room in the first place. My brain runs on enthusiasm, side quests, and the persistent feeling that I should be doing something brilliant right now.
My ambitions are simple and slightly ridiculous. Capture the perfect shot. Get lost in whatever game currently has its hooks in me. Devour the next book added to my ever growing stack. Find the perfect journal that will finally turn me into a well organized, centered adult human. This has not happened yet, but hope springs eternal. Expect musings on photography, Halloween, gaming, pop culture, and the ongoing, deeply philosophical quest for a little peace in a loud world. If you are into Star Trek, Star Wars, Doctor Who, movies, or just enjoy wandering conversations that occasionally trip over something meaningful, pull up a chair.
We are not here to be normal. Let us get weird.
