a few years ago I had what might be a pretty good idea – one that could make the world a significantly better place with relatively little effort. Hank mentioned recently that I should bring my ideas out of my head and into the world, even if they aren’t perfect yet.
I had an AI help me put my thoughts together and translate them, because I probably wouldn’t have managed it on my own.
Maybe this is something you could get excited about, or maybe you know someone who would. And if not, that’s okay too. Anything is better than me continuing to think to myself that this might be a good idea.

Global Solidarity Community – a simple idea for fair redistribution
An NGO, open to every human being worldwide. Each member contributes a small, fixed percentage of their monthly income. The collected money is distributed equally among all members – minus minimal administrative costs.
The principle is simple: those who earn more contribute more, those who earn less receive more. No member is solely a giver or solely a receiver – everyone is both. This creates no moral hierarchy between rich and poor countries, but genuine global solidarity.
Unlike conventional development aid, the system cannot be steered. There are no projects, no designated purposes, no political influence – and therefore no structural possibility for abuse. The money flows directly and equally.
The incentive to join is particularly high in poorer and middle-income countries – and that is precisely what makes the system powerful. It does not only reach the poorest of the poor, but also the global middle: people in emerging economies with a moral conscience who have until now had no tool to participate in global redistribution.
For a European or north American with an average income, membership means a barely noticeable loss. For millions of others, it could make a significant difference.
Voluntary. Transparent. Fair.
