So here's a fun story. On my recent trip to Italy and Greece, we had a layover at Heathrow before hopping on a flight to Venice. Last year, when I focused my summer travel on England, I took the two upper pictures in Dover. It's a pretty little town with some significant British history and also well known for the white cliffs (left image). There is a castle there, too, that looks over the docks (right image). Back to this summer. On the fight to Venice, I looked down about 15 minutes in and saw a very familiar site... the white outline of the Cliffs of Dover! In the bottom image you'll se the dock and the faint outline of those white cliffs. Almost a year apart, to the day. Might not be the prettiest or most interesting travel story, but it was fun to recognize it.
What a good boy. (via meriah_j)

OPI All Rose Lead to Rome//China Glaze Luxe and Lush//China Glaze Fairy Dust Felt inspired while up late overseeing some stuff for work on the other side of the world (which really just means I'm sitting on my work laptop waiting for emails). My nails were getting long so I sat down to trim them, then decided to go the whole nine yards. I'm also planning stuff for my Italy trip in a few weeks, so I though the pink was fitting. I haven't done my nails in forever. I used to be obsessed and followed all kinds of design blogs in college, and my collection followed me around. Wasn't too messy for a first attempt back. Tonight I wanted summer and I wanted sparkle, but Fairy Dust just wasn't enough, so I grabbed Luxe and Lush to balance out the middle. I loved the idea of a shattered glass look, but forgot how goopy Luxe and Lush is. đ It being 3+ years old wasn't helping matters.
The feminist internet celebrated. The bro internet was furious. The theater gained attention.
But is Alamo Drafthouse Austinâs plan to host womenâs-only screenings of Wonder Woman legal?
AREÂ âGENTLEMENâS CLUBSâ LEGAL??? IS THE COMMITTEE FOR HEALTH INSURANCE LEGAL (CURRENTLY ALL WHITE MALES)??? ARE THE CITY STREETS AT NIGHT LEGAL???? THESE SEEM TO ALL BE SAFE SPACES FOR JUST MEN?????Â
BUT A WOMEN-ONLY SCREENING OF A FUCKING MOVIE MAY BE ILLEGAL??????Â
I DONâT WANT TO LIVE ON THIS PLANET ANYMORE????
Thankfully Alamo Drafthouse doesn't give a s*** what some people think... Just watch their unapologetic "you will be kicked out if you're rude" monologue.
(Side note: I love Alamo Drafthouse. Hands down my favorite theater, will totally support any future all-female screenings.)
TIMELESS HAS BEEN UN-CANCELED!!!!!!!!!!!
YEEEEES
i know it likely won't happen but i have this theory that lincoln is going to be the one who dies. everything would come full circle you know? michael breaks him out of fox river to save his life and it ends with lincoln sacrificing himself so michael can be alive for sara and mike.
NOOOOOOOOO. Â no. Â nope. Â no way. Â not again.
the reason why they killed michael in the original series is because they wanted that âfull circleâ storyline.  thinking, michael canât break lincoln out and in the process cause all these horrible things to happen, people to die, and be able to have a happy ending.  he only gets what he originally wanted, which was to save lincoln, and michael has to ultimately die to keep his family safe.
i would be DEVASTATED if they brought back this show for a season only to have michaelâs original intention of the entire show be thrown in the gutter like the cranes in the drain so that they could call it âfull circle.â
nope.  no way, i refuse to believe that it will be lincoln that dies.  that is justâŚno.
i would hope that they have better sense than that, because that would mean that in the span of this series, they will have killed off all three of their leads at one point, and i just canât imagine that they are THAT stupid. Â
but honestly, truly, i donât think thatâll happen. Â i honestly believe (and maybe this is blind optimism) that the this will end happily. Â michael and lincoln sitting together, staring out at their family. Â sara and mike, perhaps sheba is there too, maybe sucre and c-note (and i wish lj). Â and they can finally, FINALLY breathe happy that itâs over. Â that they can just be normal, revel in their domestic bliss.
because they did it. Â theyâre free.
itâs gonna happen. Â just have a little faith.

Considering the entire cast and writers have been very open for a potential renewal, I am willing to bet they don't kill off important people in anticipation of leaving that door open. And there's a couple of places where I've read the cast saying they are happy with the ending (I could probably update and find the sources later).
One thing I'd love to see in a renewal is Mahone. Seems kind of funny to me that Poseidon is CIA and they said he wasn't back because Mahone's story didn't fit this season... but he's ex-FBI! This is like right up his alley.
But I digress. No one is ever really dead when it comes to Prison Break anyway.

Prison Break Writers: Eh, the fans probably will be satisfied with lots of C-0Note and T-Bag and Sara, they donât really want to see Fernando Sucreâ
Me, A Fan:Â
this episode is so important
15 miles down and back Capital of Texas Highway this morning. Stopped at the 360 Bridge for some lovely views. Averaged about 13 mph. Good hills training for my 50 miler in May! Quote from a friend (halfway up a rather steep incline): "...why did I decide to pick up cycling in the Hill Country?"
Alright Prison Break Fans...
...need your fan theories, because I have NO CLUE what to make of it all!
I think youâre the kind of girl a guy would come back for.
WHO DID THIS
STOP THIS RIGHT NOWWWWW

It was a huge disappointment as a child to fall in love with the stars and then find out how much math it requires to get anywhere near them.Â
Shoutout to everyone that had a dream career or ideal life but were roadblocked by math.Â
And yet, I see all of these other posts about "x years out of school and never once had to use Algebra!"
It's a CHOICE. You CHOSE a career that doesn't use math. *Or, financial hardship made it unreasonable to pursue. That's the only good excuse on this one.
And furthermore - I very much dislike these type of posts. Posts like this highlight how much we've failed in public education to encourage STEM, not stigmatize it into something that's sooo hard, so unobtainable.
Parents are just as much to blame. Children whose parents go on and on about helping out with math homework and talking about how much they hated it is part of the problem. Kids look up to you. They hear those things. And it's highly influential to how their attitude towards it goes.
I use math everyday in my job and I LOVE IT. It opened so many doors for me.
Plenty people of average intelligence get through engineering school. It's not easy, but the analytical part isn't the downfall of most. It's not a math thing 90% of the time.
Tried some Oskar Blues brews on a gorgeous spring afternoon! My boyfriend was impatient and snuck a sip before I got the picture.
